In liquipedia, vitality is already locked in for playoffs. Other teams below them seemed to have a way to make it if you believe liquipedia too.

What’s even crazier is that Som whiffed the first few shots, and Gekko whiffed every bullet on him. Truly a valorant round of all time

I still don't get how masters winners (SEN and GENG) have lesser/competitive points compared to regional tournament winners (100T and PRX). At the end of split 1, 100T had the same number of points for winning a regional tournament as SEN had for winning Kickoff and Madrid.
kickoff didn’t give any points except for winning it + it does not make sense to give points for winning matches inter region because the points are a way to qualify to represent ur own region. still winning it gave them 3 points
Prx won out their group matches while geng was struggling. Also sen has more champs points than 100t
@@deadsec5970 SEN has 1 more point than 100T. If 100T win their next match against LOUD (which is not a tough match. LOUD look pretty bad) and SEN lose their next match against G2 (which is very possible since G2 look good), SEN will have the same amount of points as 100T.
SEN will then be facing a single elim game which is they lose and then 100T get a win in their single elim game and then lose the next 2 games, 100T will make champs using champ points and SEN will not make champs.
@@somesec5919 I am saying that Masters should have given more points. Also, it doesn't make sense for the winners for split 1 playoffs to get 3 points when they have not faced all the teams and the team that will win split 2 does not need the 3 points since they will be top 3 and qualify without the champ points anyway.
Split 1 was so much more important than split 2, it is crazy, especially considering that you didn't face every team during split 1. 100T have so many points for looking like trash during Kickoff and Split 2. Almost as many as SEN who looked insane during Kickoff and Madrid, won both and are looking great during split 2.
100T had only played 5/10 matches before playoffs during split 1 and gotten to 9 points by the end of the split while SEN had faced 5/10 teams too at Kickoff and won masters with 3 wins in split 1 to only get to the same 9 points.
I agree when FNS said that there was literally no downside to choking at Kickoff and not making Madrid if your end goal was champs.
The difference is the wins in group stage
I'm actually excited and scared for TS. One thing is that they always bombed playoffs when they actually look great, but this iteration of the team looks fantastic so I hope they go to champs.

@TMV Fut,TH are top 2 and Fnatic,Vitality are qualified irrespective of how the remaining matches play out. Only 2 playoff spots remain and all the remaining 7 teams are in contention as of now.

My dream is SEN versus TS.
In emea anyone can still make it! Even last placed team can make it if they 2-0 th very handsomely. What's more likely and crazy is that gentle m8 out kf nowhere can easily make it to playoffs by just beating navi 2-0! They have better map record than bbl, navi, tl so they'll automatically qualify as 4 teams will have 4-6 record! But for some reason you and other channels have already in mind that bottom 3 teams are out but they can still make it and gentle m8 actually automatically qualify if they just beat navi 2-0.

If Fnatic beat Liquid they qualify for champs, if they do no team can overtake them without winning enough games to be top 3. Herteics would need to win 1 playoff game to catch them but if they do they're top 3, Fut need to win 2 which again if they do they've already qualified.

@@wrekt2192 Aren't they secured for champs if they beat G2? Because if they beat g2, they get an extra champs point for being top 2 in the region. That means they'll have by far the most champs points out of anyone in the region.

Question is: is RRQ's Sunset as good as Secret? GenG are by no means slouches on Sunset. They just lost to probably the best Sunset team in Pacific right now. Secret, in their last 3 Sunset matches, have been able to win 8 - 11 - and 10 rounds on attack CONSECUTIVELY. Their attack Sunset has yet to be figured out, and it's looking like their defense is even better.
