      Not responsible for any other tasks you didn't get done as a result 😬🤣

    Your creativity is endless. Soooo many ideas and all of them are sooo amazing. Of course Stella will be busy all day. I wish I would grow this way. 😍👍💖

    Love these activities! They all came out so well! I love the card matching/hiding game! I'm going to give that a try with Lucas!

      Thank you!! The few gems amidst the fails 😅 The little scavenger hunt was definitely the favorite. But now Stella runs around putting the cards around the house herself so I'm the one looking for them 🤣

    Love the animal activity!! I keep meaning to organize that and just got myself a laminator so we can start making our own cards

      I KNOW! It's such a favorite for them but somehow the hardest to get motivated to do 😫 She is obsessed with them though so I need to make a lot more this weekend I think.

    Great ideas!! I almost bought a sensory matching set but I think I might just make one!

      Thank you! The sensory matching set was a lot of fun to make honestly 😅 I think like all DIYs, it surely won't last as long as a professionally made version, but I can also continue to expand it and change it each time!

      @@MariaandMontessori yesss its been so fun making the activities too. I get a taste of the life i might have had if i went into teaching instead of carework. I really would live some shorts if ever you make another DIY that we could follow along with maybe on your Instagram or here it really helps to see you go through the process.

    Awwwh thats a lovely crafting activity too Huda has started to be involved in the creation of some of the activities i set up. Those ducks look like a good investment too
    Oh snap i need to set up the texture cards because we notice and name the textures throughout the day but i never created a specific activity i love the matching aspect.
    We love the animal hunt since you showed it a month or 2 back. Time is going by too fast.
    I've been decluttering and i hope to set up the practical life shelf once i go through the pantry ahhahahaha i feel overwhelmed but i know it will be worth it even if my mum does not keep it decluttered ahhahah😅 i haven't been on UA-cam much since i started so i haven't responded to comments idk if you noticed. Really needed something to do a rotation that has been overdue.

      Those ducks or birds or whatever they are, are actually part of a color matching and sorting activity! I'll go ahead and link it too. It came with matching cored nests and 4 more smaller ducks/birds for sorting.
      The texture cards I have honestly been meaning to make for AGES because I know it's a great activity even for younger ones. But when Stella started taking out the cotton balls in the bathroom every day, I knew it was time to get down to business!
      I'm glad to hear Huda likes the animal hunt! I setbit up back then with the intention of eventually making it a matching activity like this. I had used this in Korea with my Elementary kids and they loved it! It was great to see Stella make the connection between matching and this activity and how the two work together now!
      I totally understand-there's so much we can do with them now and prepare for them, it gets hard to keep up! I've been struggling to keep up with content on other platforms too. I always appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment on my videos! 🥰

      @@MariaandMontessori honestly i know that if i didn't watch your videoes i would have lagged behind on some areas and missed out on so many ideas even though i have the books and i have watched and read up enough, i feel that these weekly updates from you, especially with Stella being so similar to Huda, has completely changed the quality of preparation Huda would have had from me. I think the clear and succinct approach you have is perfect for my beed for practical advice and visualising what i can i do in my home.

      @@AmmaraSHAH773377 It's honestly so wonderful to hear that 🥺 Having this channel also definitely pushes me to think of more ideas as well, so it's a win win for everyone!

    Ahh yh i was wanting to ask about the proportions of the animals.i thought that it was okay because i think exposure to real animals of different sizes helped Huda understand that concept especially when there are pictures of animals next to tress to give perspective. I think for now it is okay the main aim is the recognition of the animals and the language. But i would prefer figurines that are proportional to each other at some point when i can make the investment if i find the right products

    • @MariaandMontessori
      @MariaandMontessori  3 роки тому +1

      Yes! Stella has loved the zoo and observing animals outside and seeing books with animals, so I feel she has had ample exposure to their true proportions. The figurines we have are a good size for her hands now and allow her to see the details of each animal and insect well, so I find it a worthwhile tradeoff. Once she's older and I don't need to worry about her choking on a plastic ant, I'd love to have a set that goes all the way from insects to land animals and aquatic animals in at least somewhat realistic proportions!

    I've tried the cardboard ball tracker multiple times and it always ends up getting ripped off the wall in minutes 😂

    • @MariaandMontessori
      @MariaandMontessori  3 роки тому +1

      Oh no! 😅 Stella definitely enjoyed the whole process, from putting it up, to testing, taking it down, and then repeating. But yes, ripping it off was definitely part of that process 🙈
