Hi Savita Ma'am. November Weather will be amazing. Perfect For Winter Months Between October to Feb. In Regards of Snowfall. Nobody can give you any guarantee BUT Normally Lansdowne have snowfall between the mid december to mid Jan.

Hi Ankita. Congratulations on your holiday 😊. You can either book online or go directly and book. But we always recommend booking online since it would guarantee you the availability of the rooms and well we have never seen a hotel room being cheaper at walk in.
Hotel normally have a number of rates. The 2 most common prices are walk in or also known as publish rates and the other is the online rates. Publish rates(walk in rates) are NEVER cheaper compared to online rates. This is because, the customer is least likely to travel again go somewhere else to compare the hotels and then come back. It's too tiring. So they normally charge more if you come directly.
But if you book online. Competition is tough. If you don't like one hotel. You can easily within a few seconds go see another hotel. And if they are not competitive in terms of pricing then they lose the customer. This is the main reason why hotel provides a cheaper price for online compared to walk in customer.
However seeing the hotel directly also has its benefits. You can see and view the ambience whether you like it or not. If you don't. You can go and see another hotel. And repeat the same process. But then the question is... Is it worth your time to go hotel hunting during your holiday and very limited time. The entire process including travel time from one place to another, seeing the rooms and check in might take a few hours. We feel it's not worth. And hence the main idea of the channel and the videos is to help people save that time during their limited holiday time. So that it's easier for you to make the decision and make the booking directly. It's easier. Faster and cheaper.
However in all fairness, photos and videos might not give you the full experience of the place. It might not be as accurate. Sometimes photos and videos are not as good as the real thing and sometimes it's the opposite. But overall, we do hope that we try our best to give you the most accurate and as close as real as possible. Hope it helps you out Ankita. 😊

Hi Arushi, really sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately we dont have the answer to that, we might have to call up the hotel one by one to get that ansewr for you. But anyways, did you eventually end up going to Lansdowne with your pet? which hotel did you end up staying in? maybe the information could help others so that they wont have the same issue like yours in the future.

Yes we end up going to lansdowne with my pet and stayed in ivy green resort. Its pet friendly and staff is very nice. We had experience of our life because resort was empty when we visited and it was me,my husband and my brother along with kiko(my pet) kiko loved exploring the resort and he was the star among the staff of the resort. Food is also good and they provide boiled chicken for kiko for breakfast and dinner for the entire trip we were there.
But still I would suggest everyone to call the property in advance before visiting or booking the pet friendly properties. Because i faced this problem in Rishikesh, even pet friendly properties were saying due to peak season they don’t have rooms or pets were not allowed.
So always call in advance.
Also Samskara & Samsara is another pet friendly resort in Lansdowne and you can book that too if you wish to stay in tents. They have family rooms as well but view from tents are amazing

Most of the hotels in Lansdowne serves both veg and non veg, but you don't have to worry since they normally cook them seperately. but if you are searching for pure veg hotels, unfortunately we dont have the answer at this point.

Hey everyone it has been my worst experience being lansdowne as at this tourist place there is nothing to see after reaching there I came to know that there is nothing to see for a tourist if he visit this place in summer.if visited in winter then this place is ok.
But there is nothing to rome around and the hotels were really pathetic only those people could love this place who want to have peace and just want to go out and stay in their room. Never visit this l place no tourist attraction nothing it would be completely useless to go there and waste your time and money.😊
Thanks For Sharing your Experience Kamran. Well, although I can totally relate to you, but Lansdowne is a beauty on its own. It might not be for evereyon and just like how you mentioned. There is nothing in this place. But for some of us, having nothing to do is exactly what they need. For Some people the idea of a perfect holiday is just to lie down and just do nothing the whole day. Infact I have a friend who went to Lansdowne for a few weeks just so that He could finish writing the project he was working on, since its quiet, so he gets less distracted. So yes Don't visit Lansdowne if you are seeikng adventure.
@@AdiraTravels Lansdowne is one of the worst hill station. The place do not have any attractive spot. It is simply a contontment town with the population of hardly two thousand. The place is very costly.
Fooding and lodging is very difficult and costly. There is no public transport in town, only cabs are available which is very expensive. It is not worth visiting the place.😃

Most of the hotels we come across do not have their own Web Portal and do not provide direct access to hotel bookings. As a Hotel, it is alot easier and cheaper to tie up to companies such as Agoda, Booking.com, Make My Trip and other Travel Agencies to take care of the inventory of the hotel. It also provides more sales as the companies help to provide sales to the hotel.
