    Lacy I just want to say that although i am two weeks into my intermittent fast journey; you have changed my life with all of your valuable advice and recipes. I would have only made it the first 2-3 days and have given up but you have given me tips to see the goal of weight loss and life style change. Thanks again ! Angela

    You get to the point. Subscribed. Clear instructions. Thank your editor too-such clean editing. We’re eating more veggies so this was excellent. We made your 7 or so chicken marinades for 7 days or something... fantastic. Held iPhone while gathered spices and herbs together, then quadranted all chicken, then used your 7 distinct marinates, put some in ziplock for frig and some in freezer. It was delicious. Thank you, thank you. You are appreciated.

    These are all incredible variations of sweet potato fries (also, I can appreciate you cutting them into wedges/steak fry cuts and giving me a template to work off of to do that properly, haha!)
    I think of the four variations, my favorite would have to be the Cajun fries - loves me some garlic and cayenne seasoning!

    Maybe this is a dumb question but why take them out and flip them, why not just use the broil function on your oven?

    • @laceybaier_
      @laceybaier_ 5 років тому +5

      Josie Brown the broil would cook them too quickly and they’d burn before they were tender inside. So we bake it longer 👍

    Love the recipes but have a question - I just did the cinnamon sugar sweet potatoes and they didn't turn "crispy on the outside, yet tender on the inside" at all :D They are soft, but dry and kind of chewy. Any idea why? Only thing I didn't follow is add coconut sugar.

      Assuming you're referring to a toaster oven? If so, I'm not as familiar beyond just broiling and toasting, but if it can bake foods and reach those temps, perhaps!

      A.A9255 A also very hot oven already 425 when you put them in. Medium heat makes them mushy. Also don’t touch them for at least 15 mins. Moving them around also make them mushy. Turn them lightly

    Olive oil is not the best option for cooking, instead use coconut oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil. Olive oil is meant to be used mostly in salads but not where the temperature will be high

    • @laceybaier_

    Please be aware that if you do the first recipe garlic and herb and you use pink salt it will be too SALTY. Im so upset 😣 with this one and thank goodness that I only put one tsp but still too salty. And also you have too many spices in your list for only one sweet potato at a time. Salt should be removed from your recipe and let it be an option of taste. Now im doing the other one hopefully it's not salty😋
