In this video, we begin studying linear equations. We start by discussing what a linear equation is, how to determine if a value is a solution of a linear equation, and how to find solutions of some linear equations by using the addition property.

1/x + 5 = 7 is a lineal equation. Can you explain what you said no or was a mistake?
