This is the transcription I did of the Bryan Adams song "Diana". It was released on the B side of his single "Heaven" from 1983. I think the bass player on this track was Dave Taylor?

I'm going to see Bryan Adams in concert next week. It should be fun :) It seemed fitting to cover one of his songs. And since I've always been a sucker for a catchy pop/rock song I enjoyed doing this one. Plus it's got a couple licks in it that I've always liked but never taken the time to learn.
This seems like a straight ahead rock tune, but there's a little more going on than just pumping the 8th notes. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a little more involved than what I first thought.
With that said, it's still a rock song. You want to get a big sound, make it drive, keep the notes fairly long, and play it like you wrote it :)

He retired it after her death in respect. I think that’s a bit over the top as it honors her. Not put her down song. But it must have meant a lot to BA
This has long been my favorite Bryan Adams song since I first heard it in the 80’s. Seems like there are forces that don’t want us to hear it anymore. It’s been scrubbed from virtually every platform. Going to try to find it on some physical media, either CD or Vinyl. I had it on a CD that was destroyed years ago.
I just tried to find it online and couldn't find it either...strange. I read that he stopped performing it after her passing...but we can't even listen to it? Thanks!

Why would I want to do that?
I've heard Adams will never again release this on any platform. However, I hear it everyday on stations from Toronto and southern Ontario, ( I live in Buffalo and can pick up most radio stations from Canada). With Bryan Adams being from Canada maybe he grants them special permission to play it.
I'd really like to know more about his decisions with this song. I read it's all out of respect for her and her passing.
@@BassCovers ,That's it in a nutshell. He felt it would be an insult to her legacy and he didn't want to exploit her just to just to make a buck. Very classy if you ask me.
