What a beautiful day ! Great job as always ! 270 Park is much more impressive than those stick skyscrapers. The Empire State is still just awesome ! Thank you again !

Some awesome views from that spot, thanks for the video!
The skinny tower at 6:50 is 262 Fifth Ave. - A few blocks up from Madison Square Park.
I’d love to see another video from the Brooklyn Army Terminal, you’ve done some great videos from there in the past. Keep the updates coming!

Thanks from Sweden! I've been following the progress of 270 Park Ave. as a swede, and I just wanted to say you are awesome!

This is a very nice video. It's nostalgic because it reminds me of the style videos were filmed back in the late 90s and early 2000s. This will make a good time capsule video!

The JP Morgan Chase Building (270 Park Ave.) is really coming along and looking good, but I can’t help but think it needs a Spire, or even two spires, one on each side of the top tier. It’s looking a bit more “boxy” then I anticipated from the renderings, and I love New York City spires, especially lit up at night! But it may just be my childish need for it to be even taller than it will be at 1,388 feet… even a small 100 foot spire (like the one on One Vanderbilt) would add to its shape and height! Anyhoo, I appreciate your videos as always! Thank you! 👍🏽

I found your channel a while ago now. Really enjoy the updates you provide, interesting to see the progression of your skyline compared to my home city of London.

We love your passion and love for the NYC skyline. Yet here's some advice regarding your camera work: Please slow down your side-to-side pan shots. Fast side-to-side movement causes the viewer to feel an unpleasant sensation similar to being sea sick. Watch any professionally shot movie or video to see for yourself. Keep up the skyscraper videos! But please, just sloooow it down during your pan shots. Ciao!

Appreciated. I truly love and deeply appreciate these wonderful videos, and how he and they keep me in touch with home, and updated on the progress of the skyscrapers and skyline I love. But along with that, is that the shaky camera does sometimes make me close my eyes for a moment to avoid nausea! 😮 And I don’t get motion sickness! Still, small price to pay for these unique videos and this gentleman that I’m so grateful exists.

    2:48 That's Sutton 58. I don't know if it's still unoccupied. Been 3 years.

Look at all those NYC Skyscrapers. I believe there is like 17 or 18 of them now over 1000 feet tall.

That new building under construction is the Sears John Hancock Tower. The love child of the Sears Tower and John Hancock building in Chicago.

Love these videos! Im still not getting used to all this constant change in the skyline. I hate that the ESB and chrysler are dwarfed. Idk whats worse the west side view from jersey thats completely blocked by hudson yards or the skinny towers that stick out like a sore thumb. Also the new tower on 5th ave thats right in front of the ESB is a crime! Im all for change but not to this extent! They could have built these new towers at a lesser height and in different areas.

(Meant respectfully and in a sincerely friendly way) That’s what they said every time when NYC buildings got taller and taller over the many decades. People scoffed that 40 Wall St. was too tall, that was after they complained that the Woolworth building was too tall, and then 70 Pine St. was too tall, and then the Chrysler Building was too tall, and then the Empire State Building was too big and tall, and then the old World Trade Center stole the Empire State Building’s thunder, and One Vanderbilt yada yada, and so on and so on. So we should stop building now? Or when should we have? We wouldn’t have any of these beautiful and magnificent super structures old and new if it were up to the people who always scoff when progress is made with a taller building. I appreciate the concern, but we couldn’t just stop making taller buildings because of the Empire State. Progress is and was good for the prestige and skyline since the late 1800’s…(meant respectably). 👍🏽 (but I’m with you on the pencil skyscrapers) 😮😅👍🏽

Assuming humans survive climate change and how we have destroyed this planet, its neat to think that videos like this might be looked at by historians one day.

Is this near Hunters Point Park in Queens? I ask because I drove down there last October and got lost in Queens and remember parking and getting out at a park on the water that had a similar walkway and a white perched out deck like that, but it was at 2am and was illuminated so I can't tell for sure, but this looks like the spot I went to.

This is pretty much in Hunters Point Park, slightly below it.

@@TransitOfNJ Ok cool so this is where I was. It was a nice spot even that late at night plenty of people out walking around. I remember walking the area and enjoying the night views of Manhattan. Thanks for the response
