I was there last week and I tell you people, it was like straight out of a Game of Thrones scene. The food were awesome, people warm (tho strict looking) and the sceneries were to die for. The monasteries made me feel something inside of me, like a reconnection to my spiritual side. It was like being close to Jesus and the heavens. Both Greek and Armenia are one of the oldest countries and nations in the world full of too much culture and history, there are many thing common between these countries.
@Tina Tina trust me we don't have thee typical negative backstabbing Georgian/ Turk mentality , we are honorable with what we have built and done. When we say we wish to have our old neighbors back , we mean Greeks , Assyrians and the good ol Persians today , we want and never wanted nothing to do with the neighbors we are stuck with today who claim are lands , claim our history and claim our culture and tradition while stabbing us in the back .
I have been here twice. Armenia has one of the best nature you could ever find and best tasting wines too! The city of Yerevan is truly lovely both day and night. And their people are quite hospitable and warm. Cheers Armenia!
I think the place with the lowest hospitality has to be Connecticut. No kidding.

Wow !! Can't express how much have I enjoyed this video. Didn't want it to end. I grew up as a little girl with Armenian kids and lived next to Armenian neighbours. As a child I had a dream to visit Armenia one day. My favourite classmate was an Armenian girl, my favourite teacher was our neighbor Armenian woman. But, suddenly everything had changed and horrible riots started in a country and all of them fled at once to Armenia , Russia , Canada and so on. It was very very sad... Few years later we left to Israel. Today I'm 43 years old and I remember all of them , their names and surnames and how wonderful and educated they were. I wish one day somehow I will have opportunity to take my three kids and come with them to travel in Armenia. Thank you for such a wonderful and precious video 💕

One of the most sacred & beautiful of places, culturally so rich; I’ve never been there but I’m very fond of Armenian art, music etc. As an ashkenazi Jew who lost family during the holocaust (not to mention centuries of persecution) the tragic yet resilient story of the Armenians resonates with me strongly. All men, women, & children are our brothers & sisters on this earth 🖤
This is an excellent video about ARMENIA --- one of the oldest and greatest civilizations and the first Christian nation. Greetings from an American descendant of Bulgarians from Aegean Macedonia and Pirot!
Why Bolo Ethiopians and Armenians are the same type of Christian. Ethiopia had Christianity before Armenians were introduced; however Armenia was the first country to accept Christianity as an official religion backed by the state. Ethiopians and Armenians have a long history together dating back many centuries. And they love eachother to this day.

In Singapore we have an Armenian church that dates back to the early 1800's. Though small in numbers, the Armenian population here are high achievers. The first Prime Minister of independent Singapore was Mr. David Marshall, a brilliant lawyer and a humane, honest man much admired by many. The Sarkies Brothers built Raffles Hotel, which until today is THE premium hotel in Singapore and an iconic landmark. Bravo Armenia.
Raffles Hotel was built by a Jewish family and they must be the Sarkis brothers that you mentioned. Also Prime Minister David Marshall was also Jewish. His family were originally from Iraq but settled in Singapore as traders. None of these prominent families were Armenian.

I love Greek people. Greeks and Greece always are my heart. I love you my Greeks
thank you
You must be crazy lol
@Tina Tina trust me we don't have thee typical negative backstabbing Georgian/ Turk mentality , we are honorable with what we have built and done. When we say we wish to have our old neighbors back , we mean Greeks , Assyrians and the good ol Persians today , we want and never wanted nothing to do with the neighbors we are stuck with today who claim are lands , claim our history and claim our culture and tradition while stabbing us in the back .
Armenia is a wonderful country , may God protect it and its people .

I have been here twice. Armenia has one of the best nature you could ever find and best tasting wines too! The city of Yerevan is truly lovely both day and night. And their people are quite hospitable and warm. Cheers Armenia!
I think the place with the lowest hospitality has to be Connecticut. No kidding.
if interested...Rothman, quoted said...''All that was known in Mesopotamia
came from Armenia and that Armenia is the absent fragment in the entire mosaic
of the ancient world's civilization's construction. H.V. Hilprecht (1859-1925)
a Clark research professor of Assyriology and scientific director Babylonian
expedition at the University of Penn. argue that the Hittite tongue is Armenian
and the Hittites themselves were of Armenian stock... All civilization came
from The Armenians Highlands. What do other historians say...according to
Anthropologist Mitchell S. Rothman regarding the extent of discoveries
and specially on the quality of horse bones proved, According to him, that it
was from the Shangavit Armenian 6000 years ago that the culture of that area
spread around to the ancient world..
according to Ellis (1861) through language analysis we
observe that under the names of Phrygians, Thracians, Pelasgians and Etruscans
spread westward from Armenia to Italy and Elis claimed that the closest
affinities of the Aryan element are the Armenians ..other historians that agree
are Hellenthal, Busgy, Brand, Wilson, Myers and Falush...Professor Jensen also
says. ‘For almost everything that is known in the Hittite language is Old
Armenian in form..Historian Sayce (1845-1933) also consider Hittite and Armenian to be one and
the same’.
Also if interest….let me quote Merrick (2012) All religions
are descended from and ancient Vedic cosmology described in the Rib -
Veda, originating in Armenia near Mt. Ararat at least 6800 ys ago and the basic
concepts of a transcendental mountain extending into space and populated planet
Star-gods were developed...he further says...This Astrotheology then migrated
with Armenian Aryans to found the Sumerian Ethiopian/Egyptian and Indian
civilizations and religions...from Language as a fingerprint Setyan...

Love and good wishes to all Armenians.
Noah, his family and the Ark only landed on the Armenian/Turkish border. But we are all descendants of Noah that spread all over the earth..

Paul Ferrer I thought Ethiopia was Christian before them, but I could be wrong.
I love it. I felt the spirit of this land while watching=)
@Vintage Rocker is that comment necessary? Or are you just a natural born asshole with Shitty genetics??

Is it at Telok Ayer? There’s a building there that I thought looked like a synagogue
Raffles Hotel was built by a Jewish family and they must be the Sarkis brothers that you mentioned. Also Prime Minister David Marshall was also Jewish. His family were originally from Iraq but settled in Singapore as traders. None of these prominent families were Armenian.

Being a politician and a journalist he brought up the Armenian genocide in Turkish parliament and in 1922 Nov 4 he was kidnapped. Kemal was knifed stoned and hanged from a branch over the bridge. Many Turks like him fought for justice.

@Tina Tina
Armenians have lived in the lands occupied by Turkey and Azerbaijan for around 3,500 years. Don’t you know that we used to be an empire during the reign of Tigranes the great from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean sea to the Caspian Sea. I know we can never get all our lands back, but first educate yourself before saying this like Armenians are eying your lands!

Thank you
