I always thought it was interesting to parallel Cassandra with Eugene in the episode where Rapunzel’s memory is wiped. They could’ve compared Cass to Gothel, but for this episode, they had the two of them going through many of the same romantic situations that Rapunzel and Eugene did in the movie. If Rapunzel and Eugene weren’t already a cute couple, I would’ve been shipping Rapunzel and Cass hard.
I wondered why they made the parallel to eugene tho. Not only in the memory wipe episode but in the finale where eugene and raps were together at the end and they accepted her too

I kind of wish Cassandra had chosen to redeem herself in the finale because she cared about Raps/wanted to right her wrongs, not just because she had to side with her to defeat Xanteri. That said, her conversations with Rapunzel were my favorite scenes in the finale, and they’re cute together as friends and as a couple. If they ever did a movie sequel to Tangled-which I’m skeptical about-it would be awesome to see Cass in the 3-D animation style of the movie. Thanks for the response! For me i didnt view cass the finale that way when i watched it, but honestly it took a long time for her to realize she was wrong. Deep down we all knew she still cared for raps despite everything. I was happy they all got back together in the end. Im sad and i wish cass could stay. I wished that the series would have a sequel to where cass was going.
The moment where cassandra goes at her with the sword and then it cuts to them and theyre hugging and spinning is just so stunning that i needed to take a breather amazing work!
