I always loved the theme with this archetype. The actors being Pendulums makes sense since when they leave the field, they go "Backstage" to the extra deck for rehearsal before coming out for the curtain call of a Pendulum Summon, with the script's effects referencing different acts of a narrative or plot twist when they are destroyed facedown.
And the effect of some of the not used Abyss Actors implies that the Actors backstage (the extra) will leave it to beat the crap out of anyone who interrupts the play.
And the Link monsters can't use some of the support cards because they're not the ones ON THE STAGE. How tf were the restrictions also part of the theme
Damn, that skit had me ROLLING. I especially loved when you got crushed by a hydraulic press while someone read reddit stories and both a family guy clip and subway surfers gameplay were also on the screen
Words cannot express how funny I think Abyss Playhouse is. Ash? Nabiru? Veiler? Literally any monster effect, literally anywhere? Fuck you, we're in theater club today, and YOU WILL PLAY YOUR ROLE.
This list is playable, I just have a few notes as your stage manager: -I’d recommend running 3 comic relief since he’s so important to your otk. -the best ratio for abysstainment to rise of the abyss king is 1:2. The pop is just more valuable in a lot of cases -although opening ceremony is funny to win in time, it’s not good enough to be played except in some triple tactics thrust variants.
Gotta love that the game plan of the archetype is ruined as soon as the deck is revealed, so they just gave the deck a card that just says "We don't care you actually read, you're popping the backrow anyway."
This deck looks pretty fun. May build it in the future in MD because the very idea of punishing your opponent for popping your backrow is hilarious. I know it isn't good but having Waking the Dragon along with this would be the dumbest thing XD
I used the salt that Joseph had at that Best of Three to season my whole pot of boiling water for spaget! Woo! Seriously, though, I didn’t expect Abyss Actor to have that much gas, which was kind of neat!
I usually play Effect Veiler in my build of this over imperm. Unlike imperm, you can play it off of the draw 5. I also actually run Liberty. It can be a great way to blind side a hasty attack from your opponent, and can also be used as a chain block for ceremony.
Love and play this Deck since 2018 or so Always was just about abusing the rise card and the broken soft OPTs. Now the deck finally has a game plan to stick to and hopefully is more than a gimmicky fun strategy.
@@danielbeesley1326 no one’s saying it’s unfair just unfun to fight. Well, the actual fanbase is saying it’s just unfun, the yugitubers are milking with that clickbait

Not gonna lie, having the madonna lock you out of being able to talk to the director or producer seems like, idk, a flavor thing. There's something there that's really cool, I'm just not really getting to the core of it.
"Actually I take it back, I didn't want tearlaments to change the meta that much! Can we go back to a world without them?" I say, as all of the fingers on the monkey's paw curl into a fist and then punch me directly in the jaw.

I liked your deck but I would suggest one Twinkle Little Star to grab off the Madonna for the scales. That gives you a zero through nine scale for summons and also at least one Evil Heel as he weakens opponent monsters as well as gets Scripts out of the graveyards so you can recycle some of your strongest spell cards.
You don't need a 0-9 scale though it is pretty good for evil heel so you can just use wild hope. I still run twinkle little star and evil heel though cause I like recycling the scripts and a superstar that was boosted by a funky comedian and twinkle little star to attack multiple times with a fire dragon's lair on top is absolutely devastating cause you can banish up to 9 cards from the opponent's extra deck.
@@Honest_Mids_Masher Well in Master Duel in my AA deck I also run Leading Lady for her weakening ability so when I do a multihit with Evil Heel or Superstar she weakens the second monster to make the hit better.
I am laughing at Branded player drawing Called by off Albion. Shotgunning Fusion after super poly was bad play. By default, I feel like you always want to fire off every search effect possible before Fusion just hopefully to bait the Ash blossom.

Thanks for showcasing how Branded Bystial does a lot of flashy stuff just to confuse the opponent, when it still just loses to Ash Blossom.
The Bystials do provide _some_ interaction but yeah, you need other access to Fusion monsters than only Branded Fusion.

To be fair, that was one of the worst Kashtira players I’ve ever seen
The feeling of waking up, opening youtube and the first thing i see is a 10 min testing of my favorite archetype. Great way to start my day
When MBT doesnt do an opening bit, I myself become a Mellow Madonna.
So sick how you can choose when to place the field spell as a quick effect, actually puts a degree of thought into the disruption

this intro was genius! his acting was really on point with the abyss actor lore. This was lowkey oscar winning performance! bravo! bravo!
I like diversity in the meta but also the ability for most decks to have a fair chance against meta deck.
People trying to play kat just being they can't tear no more is amazing since they just get dunked on and are now force to actually deck build.
Hey, Konami actually embracing this deck’s identity and unique form of interaction rather than giving them another archetypal floodgate.

It doesnt work with Comic Relief, but Playhouse can still pop Waking the Dragon. Gonna experiment with those in my build when we get the new cards!
That hand in the very last game really was a matter of... thrust.
