Hal been showing the havocs power for years and nobody said anything, the prowler was op for years and nobody said anything, imo the issue is how much they have nerfed the other guns so much. The devs said they do it on purpose tho to shake up the meta

For awhile the turbo nerfed the Havoc DPS. Now that they reverted that it’s back to being meta. But it didn’t just show back up solely because of ALGS.
Hot take time The havoc is only a “problem” right now because for the last year or so every time a gun is meta in apex it gets nerfed (r-301, flatline, r-99, car, wingman, etc) The only one that hasn’t gotten heavy nerfs is the havoc so it basically sticks out. In old apex it wasn’t a problem Because other guns were actually strong and not just the havoc It’s especially bad because a lot of the guns getting nerfed aren’t op they’re just popular

If they just reduce the base mag of the havoc by 4ish bullets and bring the hipfire in line with the other assault rifles, it'll be in a perfect spot, and the entire meta will be the best it has ever been. The only other guns that need changes are the charge rifle, the p2020, and the re45, but those two handguns are getting akimbo next season to make them more viable, leaving only the charge rifle in terrible shape (I think it should get the ability to break doors tbh, which also is good to keep catalyst in-line, and it's still not overpowered).
It's not though, a 1v3 is very hard to do now, if you lose both teammates late in the game Vs purple or red shields, you may as well give up, unless the other team is terrible, which in the higher ranks, they are not. You rarely get or see amazing moments in apex any more. No highlights, which makes the game feel a bit flat. It might be that the game has been out ages and has got a bit boring, but unless you are very high level and can hit every shot. All the fights are laboured, holding hands is the only way to play, probably 70% of the weapons are unviable unless you have good attachments...
@@outerspaceisalie I completely disagree tbh. Guns are balanced but they aren’t fun right now because the margin for error is simply too small. Compared to old apex (around season 9-12 ideally) the game was just as balanced but the guns as a whole offered a little more room for error so they were all more fun to use. Nowadays you can’t make any mistakes if you want to get kills
The havoc is an amazing weapon. It has the most bullet capacity, it has amazing iron sights, and it's energy gun. Adding in the turbo charger just makes it S tier.
Can´t wait for another spread sheet balancing, by making the Havoc really bad instread of bringing the other guns in line. Which this gane could really use with its ridiculous TTK.

In that case it’s a sign that you have a habit of shooting before your crosshairs is even on target……maybe you can use havoc as a tool to correct that…

I have no issue with the Havoc's power or use. My only issue with it is the mag size and fire rate. People will fire it and just hold the trigger for 30 seconds, miss half the mag, and can still get 2 kills. It feels like when the spitfire was the meta. I wonder if they're going to just nerf the havoc into the ground or if theyre going to level the playing field.

The havoc has been disgusting ever since they reduced the initial recoil in season 13. It took nerfing easier things to use for people to figure it out.

I don't want them to nerf the Havoc, i want them to do aweeping changes to the guns and buff them Havoc has gotten so many nerfs from the earlier seasons after being meta before and was beought down and has stayed there for so long and every other weapon kept on getting nerf to where havoc is meta again. They are trying to nerf controller meta so they are nerfing every weapon to equalize mnk vs controller, and they are not touching the Havoc because it works great on both inputs. edit: im pretty sure they sed this them selves that they wont nerf aim assist but will tweak the weapon meta to give mnk players a better chance.

Example the R99 is was one of the strongest and now it is one of the worst SMGs in the game because they nerfed it into the ground.
Its because the Apex players are mostly whiny about every single thing. If you are dying to something, its considered OP. "Omg that gun is OP, OMG that ability is OP, omg that legend is OP, OMG that spot is OP" They nerfed every satisfying gun to the sewers and now everyone is whining about Havoc. Eventually we all are getting guns that do 1 dmg per shot. And then we can finally start whining about how weak the guns are.

2:47 "run" is just moving, its not holding shift, sprinting i holding shift. So havoc hipfire is punishing if you dont stand still (who does?).

but merchant, you already said the reason. there are many head glitch fights lately and non turbo havoc is a bad gun to use to counter head-glitching.
