I use her Pillow Soft Curls as my "moisturizer" then the Jelly Curls over it as my "gel" for hold. The Jelly Curls definitely has more hold than the Pillow. I ADORE the smell and get compliments all the time!! You guys are so beautiful, thanks for the vid!
its supposed to reference Downy fabric softener.check out the smell & color that's like Downy..it used to say that the softness is like the fabric care technology.....you used waaay more than I've ever used so that might account for the product feeling IDK btw, it's $17 at Wal-Mart
That is one thing I love about honey curls is that it doesn’t have the dryer sheet smell like every other miss Jessie’s product. I like to use the honey curls with the flaxseed eco.
this is my ol faithful one n done..definition is AMAZING everytime i used it like no other! i prefer a soft hold with NO crunch and i rewet daily so I'm good...LOVE the Downy smell..if i need to slick with gel i use jelly soft curls
This product simply works best for an easy breezy wash n go. If you want voluminous, lightweight hair with no fuss in my opinion this product is ideal. The hold is soft so dont expect a long lasting wash n go that lasts days upon days. It will give you expanded or "voluminous" hair. Great video Ladies, thanks for the review.

The test of a 'light' or 'soft' hold for me is whether a ringlet finds its way back together once it's broken apart or if it just forms frizz and stays broken apart. I'd consider the former light/soft hold and the latter no hold. Or ring-a-ling vs cotton candy curlies! 😂😂😂 xoxoxo!

GIRL! My hair is a hot mess from that diy deep conditioner fiasco. I have to start completely over & just wash my hair again & style it. I’m upset *Drake voice*. Whitney aka naptural85 did me so dirty. I’m sticking to store bought dc from now on, I don’t trust those diy ones. But both of your results were cute and I do agree that it doesn’t seem like it will last that long. It just seems way too lightweight especially for my more coarse, thicker hair. I tried one of the products in this line years ago and it did nothing to hold my hair. I couldn't give it away fast enough! I'd have to wash and style daily with that kinda non-hold hold and ain't nobody got time fa that 😆😆 And yesss I remember a school trip to Madison Square Garden every year to see Ring-a-ling Bros and getting to buy our lights to swing in the air. I do have this product. I do think it feels produc-ty. My hair gravitates to a product and don't let go ... it does the most honey and I be like OMG, loosen up some, the curls are just so tight, lol!!! But I enjoy the clean smell - lots of comments. Beautiful results, Ladies!!! Would love to see what the Meringa [sp] results would look like or the Multiracial (interesteded in that one) or whichever one would do clumping soft curls. I used to loveeee this product. I love the smell of it, it left my hair feeling literally feather soft, even though it’s a soft hold it would still define my hair to the gods and last a couple of days. But over time I couldn’t make it to day 2, then not even through the whole of day 1, until eventually not even a few hours. The 4th ingredient is a silicone and this was what causing problems.
I have the leave in condish and the coils custard, but I never heard anything about it! Maybe I'll give it a try next wash day. AND GIRLLLLLLL, when I saw Kim do that reverse wash n go, I was all under them comments!!! I was representing the mad curls fam in there!

Use products that say airy or light. Sounds like you are using heavy products. Also be sure to clarify the hair to get rid of product residue that weighs down the hair.

This is one of my favs. And Honey Curls. I do pillow soft in the fall/winter.
I have tried this product and yes it does smell like fabric softener it was so strong that I never used it again..but it did give good curl definition

The jelly soft curls does amazing for my Type 3b curls along with a leave in !
I mix the Pillow Soft with the Jelly Soft Curls, it works better for me.

Funny, I used to use this and quick curls. I just found an unused bottle of this.
My hair is tighter and I just worry that my hair won't last over 24 hrs and a 24hr wash and go is a fail but I will try it.
Love your hair ladies but $22 for one product is not in my budget and I have 4A high porosity hair not so sure if it would work for me ☺️.
