- Excited to drop the first bass fishing tournament video of the 2021 season! Even MORE Tourney vids this year than in the past! Late April bass fishing Mississippi River Pool 4 out of Wabasha, MN. Using prespawn patterns to find bass w/ jerkbaits & lipless crankbaits on the way to where they spawn on a river system. Water temps low to High 40s. Water level was around 9ft. Michael Tesch was my partner & jerkbait master in this video.

I use the same style net. Rubber nets were the best invention ever for treble hooked baits. Great video.

Ha, half of them didn't make the edit, they were relentless
Basically the same as my derby on 5a. Took just over 19 to win. Sucks when those pike make you think you got a goodun on!

I have driven to both Grand Rapids and Mille Lacs for a single day of fishing many a times from Lakeville
@@HellaBass I can see doing that as well, but normally try to stretch out the GR trips.
Your spings come late and your falls come early. That's why I don't want to venture North.. Maybe in the summer... but I sure do like catching Brown fish because ditch pickles abound down here. Keep that footage coming.

May should be really good, fish in all 3 stages, cover water with swim jigs until you find them. Work backwards from likely spawning areas back to first current areas
