Love my 21 🌵 grey OuterBanks 0--0. Got the Lux package and Sasquatch. Went to Bronco Rodeo in NH and saw what these machines could do and was not disappointed 👍
For new channel awesome presentation and great quality 👌 I have been looking a used 22, just not sold on the price. The market is inflated. To be honest, I'm a jeep guy like you haha 😄
I agree that the market is inflated and the price after dealer markup makes it harder to want to buy right now. I love Jeep (I've had 3 Grand Cherokees and still have a J10 pickup) and I would love to have a Wrangler, I just struggle with the tighter interior because of my size. Plus having a wife and 3 kids is why I'd lean towards the Bronco (stock) for being able to fit my family and out stuff for a trip.
Does this have the 4 wheel drive automatic because of the Sasquatch package or a different package? I didn’t think that was possible with the Outerbanks. Great video. Thanks.
My favorite color for that car. It looks so good! And all those little details you pointed out are really nice. Love that detail. Did we find out where the coordinates lead? You got me curious
We did find out and the coordinates lead to Johnson Valley, California! Ford sponsors the King of the Hammers race and that's also where they tested the Broncos.
First, awesome intro. That scene is so cool! I need to visit that area. Great review. Needs more offroad testing! I feel that the Bronco is better quality than the wrangler, but im not a fan of the 2.7. I rather have a twin turbo v8 haha. I rather own a classic Bronco. The walkout camera view is different... almost like VR. New sub here!
Thank you for the feedback and the sub! I agree about the quality and I plan on more off road testing and a few comparison videos as well. I'd like to test it against a Wrangler and a 4Runner.
Sure, wouldn’t we all want a 1000 hp bronco but then half the people would complain about fuel mileage and breaking parts all the time! The 2.7 TT is no slouch by any means ….more than enough to get the job done!
Stay tuned on the Bronco, I'll be posting a video about it soon. In the meantime, we have multiple cars available on Turo and I hope you're able to find something that will fit your needs. Feel free to reach out on Turo as well.
I recently saw a new Bronco Sasquatch pkg at dealership in Alpena MI, red color, removable hardtop, just beautiful. Window sticker said mpg was 17. That's Not Desent at all, piss poor! I asked how much weight could it tow? Salesman couldn't answer my question. It had same engine as the one you had in this video. So, can you get a tow pkg, and how much will it tow??
I just went to Ford's website and built a Bronco and was able to add a tow package and according to their site, it has a max towing of 3,500 pounds. I don't think this vehicle was designed with much towing in mind. The window sticker for estimated MPG doesn't match what we've seen in the real world up to this point as we're getting better mileage. Our Bronco is equipped with the 2.7 Ecoboost.
I think the Bronco is better in how much room it offers inside. The Wrangler has legendary off road performance that is undeniable, but a lot of that is thanks to the large aftermarket community. Out of curiosity, I built the cheapest Wrangler I could on their website and did my best to match the features and the price was similar. However, the Wrangler is far more underpowered and offers an 8 speed transmission compared to Ford's 10 speed which keeps the Bronco in the right power band better and should offer better fuel economy. Maybe I should do a comparison video?
It depends on the trade-off you want to make. Jeep is better off-road, Bronco is better on-road, both are capable of being good on and off-road. I ended up with the Bronco as it was the better deal and best for my use. Not counting the 392 or 4xe, I couldn't see running the Jeep, as the other engines are just are gutless.
@@JustJosh101 The solid front axle is generally better for articulation, the steering rack/tie rods are stronger (other than Raptor and HOSS 3.0 WildTrak variants), the Jeep is easier to lift than the Bronco, and finally the jeep is more narrow which allows it to navigate tight trails better. All of these are compromises, as IFS gives better high speed handling and the Bronco is more comfortable both due to the extra room inside and the IFS front suspension. I have two modified OBX non-sasquatch 2 door 2.7 v6 Broncos with the advanced 4x4 transfer case and rear lockers. One is a 2021 lux package ($48k} and the other is a 2023 high package (which I purchased new for $11k under MSRP for $40k). The 2021 now has a Badlands suspension ($1200/new) with HOSS 3.0 steering rack ($800/new) and 2023 has an upgraded stereo ($1000), Everglades suspension ($500/used under 1k miles), and will eventually get the HOSS 3.0 steering rack as well. So they are not exactly as delivered anymore. FWIW, I have over 75k miles on the 2021 Bronco.
I personally dont understand why anyone would get something other than black diamond or badlands if they are doing any off-roading. The washout mats and seats, and the side and front rock guards are necessary for that
If I were to buy one for the purpose of off-roading, I'd buy a different package for sure. This was bought to be rented out on Turo. One day we were curious about how off-road capable it could be and decided to do this contest.
Bronco owner here and I’m here to tell you that the way the rear hatch opens is absolutely the dumbest engineering design in soft top history. Total fail and ford should be embarrassed.
My Jeep would put this mall crawler to shame. 😉 I recognize the passenger from good news channel on UA-cam. There video recommended this video. Looks like it's new, but I subscribed. Hope to see more jeep action and less Chinese ford bronco videos 😁 btw the coordinates lead to a desert in California. The last place I want to be haha
I will absolutely have more content with Jeeps upcoming. Perhaps a comparison video? You're right about the coordinates and about being the last place I'd want to be. I've done training out in the California desert in August during my time in the military and I'm in no hurry to go back.
Chinese? The Bronco is design in Michigan and built in Michigan! I’m sure there’s just as many Chinese parts on a Jeep as there is on a Bronco!….80% of everything the US buys is made in China! Thanks to our great leader!
you forgot to mention you cant flat tow [reliably] without fear of destroying the transmission. like i did behind my rv. $6,300 worth. ford refused to cover under full warranty 5k miles. POS!
If the transfer case was in neutral, there shouldn’t have been an issue. Could you explain more what happened? It would be good to know to prevent others from the same issue.
@@MOHAWKAUTO that is a short question with a very long answer. Bottom line is I followed Ford protocols for flat towing the vehicle towed successfully over 15 times over 2000 miles and then the 16th time the car would not engage the transmission. The transmission was fried and Ford told me it was because I did something wrong, then they charged me over $6000 to fix it. That is the bottom line flat Towing a bronco is risky business at best.
Must have been user error. Ford doesn't mess things up that stupid. Been a Ford family all my life and they've done us right and kept us safe comfortably.@@clintwestwood2731

Bronco prices are a tad ridiculous
Agreed... Thanks for watching!
All new car prices are a tad ridiculous right now.
@@beavis17UF1 it’s true. Although, I think they’re starting to come down as they’re having a stockpile of vehicles they can’t sell.
That soft top blows for the price!
We recently took a Badlands V6 for a test drive in California. Dealer “Market Adjustment” +18k over MSRP
Specs show ground clearance at 8.4". Is that a true measurement for ground clearance front to back?

Great review. Really wished ford would allow customization of interior. I would love a badlands interior on this model.
I agree, I feel like a lot of manufacturers put interiors behind a certain trim level and don’t give you a lot of options.
Is this azul grey?
This is Azure Gray Metallic
I tried to follow the link and I can't find the Bronco on turo? I'm coming to Boise to house hunt and I want to explore the area. Thanks!
