Oculus Quest 1 user here. You are a legend! I powered off the Oculus by holding down the power button on the headset till it completely powered off, then as you recommended, I took the battery out of the controller for one minute. I had not had any light or indication of life in the controller, after a minute I put the battery back in, the light flashed! I then turned on the headset and the controller light paired to the Oculus, very good outcome. Cheers.

Hey a question. So my left controller is the thing that’s not working and when I restarted it, it just keeps flashing for like a millisecond then it stops, then it does it again, then it stops. If you could, please tell me what’s happening

If none of these work make sure the battery slot isn't corroded its difficult to tell with the color of the controller and the little space where the battery sits is obstructed slightly. I was having this issue and luckily had the old battery and noticed a bit of corrosion (not a ton) just a little powder. If thats the case just take something and scrape off what you can. Thanks for these recommendations but none of them worked for me. I also did not want to factory reset. So, I unpaired and then paired the controller again.
