I remember that including the jumping mechanism in the bikes was part of the rules of Scrapman's Tron video. I don't remember if kosmo was in it but I'm assuming he was and that's where he got the idea from.

Tron is fun in Trailmakers
i use the speed sensor and an and gate to control engine, makes it easy to cap top speed - enable toggle so you can't slow down
can also use similar to control concrete spawner, go faster than 40k/24mph to start spawning
One of the first things I did when the decal update came out, was put them on wheels for this exact reason.
I also want more wheel types in the game tbh!
