- After achieving our goal of 1k subs before the end of the year I thought what better way to celebrate than to think back on and reminisce about what lead me to play this game and get to where we are today.

Congrats!! It's always a pleasure to hear other long-time WoTs player's journeys and how they came across the game. I remember seeing a Facebook ad for it like in 2010/2011 or so and just was coming off being obsessed with RPG games and wanted to get back into the online multiplayer space. So, clicked on the World of Tanks ad for PC and never looked back. It's changed so much, in some ways for the better, other ways...much worse lol. When I started out, there were only 3 nations: U.S., Germany and Soviet Russia. Kinda miss PC, tbh but I'd need a better gaming PC again for it. Had over 36,000 battles on PC and about half that on console now which I started in 2017, I think it was. I don't get the same joy from the game as I did in earlier years but I stick with it, begrudgingly at times lol. Anyway, glad you're still finding joy from it. 👍
Having been around since 360 Beta, I totally agree that WOT rewards knowledge!

Great video. It's always nice to see different people's personal growth. I will say that the WoTMA community has been very welcoming for the most part and helpful to me in particular at getting better at the game and even have a sense of community I didn't have. Here's, hopefully, to many more videos and years of content for us all to grow in our own personal journeys. Whether it be in this game or out of it. Cheers bro!

I found a lot of parts of your story to be relatable, specifically the parts where you talked about getting your first job and then buying premiums that would come out. I left World of Tanks in 2022 for War Thunder and haven’t looked back, I’ve built a decent following in the past year as I started making content for war thunder last December and shortly after became a Gaijin Partner. It’s a great community with some amazing people working in the partnership program. If you’re interested in working on a video together let me know. I think it’d be a lot of fun to see a new player try out the game, I know it was new and excited back when I first started playing
I've played a fair bit of WT, I'm at 6.7 in Japan and 6.3 in China tanks wise, and only 4.0 in American planes. I find the planes really fun, and the tanks is a nice change of pace and can be fun at times, but the stuff that kills it for me is the uber ratting, spawn killing, and the planes in ground battles. I hear they're changing things with planes or something, but for now I can tell you that I would never switch to WT, but I do play it on the side just for the novelty.
ngl I'd be scared to be in a video meant for WT players with my take on the game lol, showing off a different player mindest could be a novel idea though. Also to clarify I don't hate WT, I think its a decently made game, but its just not for me type situation. Not what I look for in games. arcade planes is really fun though
@@JustaConeI would like to clarify as well that I do not hate world of tanks console as I had played it since beta, but the hyper monetization got bad in 2022 with some really cool/broken tanks coming as premiums. I unlocked a tone of tanks throughout that time frame since it was the only game I really played. I’ve unlocked top tier in every nation for ground and air except Israeli air for wt now. If your interested in specifically why I switched and what reasons we could talk over a few matches of ether game. I still play WOT once in a blue moon to see what is going on in the game.

I too live in FL, but in the panhandle in Panama City , we didn’t really have many problems during the the pandemic up here, but it’s no where near as big a population up here than it is down where you were at , especially back in late 2019/early 20 when the pandemic first started becoming a thing,stuff up here stayed relatively normal except when it came to lobbies of restaurants being open. And then having to where masks in grocery stores.
That’s unexpected, I thought you’d be one of those guys like me who knew about WOT beforehand and played a little on PC, In my scenario I didn’t have the best laptop because I was still in middle school so I was playing on the lowest graphic settings with like 25fps on average, so when when wot console came out on Xbox I downloaded wot console hoping for a better experience when it came to frame rate,etc. since my laptop was so crap and usually console optimized games ran way better than it did on my laptop. One thing on PC they never brought to console was the Test server which I miss, it’s let you test out every tank in the game, or the new tanks,maps, game features just before the update came out on the live severs, that way they could find any bugs before they released it on live servers.
I would love a public test server, supertest alone is seemingly not working, and I did watch a lot of PC tanks because of my time on console and learned a lot from them despite them being different games

I watched your video from the beginning until the end and found it very interesting and amusing because of your life story.
I think you should do more vids like that. You have a nice and pleasant voice and listening to you is enjoyable. Keep the vids coming and I will watch all of them.
Unfortunately I must add that I don't like the direction this game is heading and that's why I play much less then and a year ago. WG does not care about it's community and releasing OP tanks makes this game unplayable.

Dude , this game is a dumpster fire. And I first played in 2014. It was my #1 game for like 8 years. Update 6.0 destroyed the game. Switch to war thunder it's a better game. Warships, a game made by the the old WOT devs is even better than tanks now. Wot console is dead. Dead! I give it 2 more years going the direction it is right now. I uninstalled and it's never coming back. R I P. Wot.
Same here it's childish as hell now. Which is weird because wot console has a age majority of 21 to 34 and older. I wish it was a lot more like pc they get all the cool shit lol.
