this tank used to have turret armor and highest alpha damage of tier 10 light tank, now that all lts have 390 damage, the turret armor isnt enough to make it special anymore, i hope they increase the alpha damage to 420 so that it can become a combat LT or behave like a med with camo
IMO balancing a tank by buffing its alpha is the worst way to balance a tank and it harm the game environment. It's one one the main reason why the game is becoming shorter.
Any light tanks that trade scouting capability for firepower usually just end up being bad at everything. Compare the WZ-132-1 to the Leopard or CS-63. You play a light tank to go slower and have less view range than a medium? WZ-132-1 can't even outspot a Borat. Plus mediums can equip CVS too. That's why the good light tanks are the ones with the highest camo rating, because the camo on the move is the only real advantage lights have to outplay mediums.

I did not like the intro of light tanks beyond Tier 8, but at the time, this was my favorite 10. Big alpha and (for the time) turret armor. I would build it for passive spotting, hoping to get the other lights zapped, and then vision-game everything else while collecting my alpha shots. Sounds odd, worked great. Then the betrayal of the wheelies and goodbye.
It's great at ramming other light tanks, gun isn't bad, dpm, handling etc. . turret armour can work, it just isn't great at passive spotting, I 3 marked it with Vents, Turbo and depending on the Map, CVS or Rammer.

I love this whole line. TDs ability to use Intuition to load AP hurts you. I've had some incredible HEAT bounces off of the hairnet around the turret. Plays like a wheeled LT, carefully placed shots early on then drive-by kill shots late game. This thing Snipes in a bush like you wouldn't believe, accuracy is good.
I love it, call me weird or stupid, but with improved exhaust, cvs and bond optics, I get around 510m view range and 44% camo, which allows me to do proper light tank stuff, but if needed, I can also fight with my teammates and tank some shots. 63% win rate on around 500 battles says enough.
Dont listen to anyone, tank is actually amazing. Get bond eqipment and you can get to 46% camo. Combine with great gun and turret armor, this tank works, my fav light ever
You should add equipement and skill votes by community, like WG's premium feature. This could also be used to make videos if the community votes for different setups than you. "Trying community builds" kind of video.
I love this tank in the World of Tanks Blitz Version. It has an ability called adaptive Concealment and it shows you who spotted you and you are only 7 seconds visible instead of 10. Maybe something similar would work to buff this tank.

For me, the Chinese lights were a lot of fun to grind. I think T6 and T7 were the best. But the higher tiers can be good if you know how to play them. They are not ideal scouting tanks, but can be useful as a hybrid light/medium style of tank.

Also tier 9 is worse than tier 8 as it trades everything for alpha, but gun can't hit anything at long range. I think that only other feature that is better than T54LW is radio range. And when tier 10 lights were introduced, tier 8 wz132 was like old wz131, but with worse acceleration and gun. Nonetheless, it used to be relatively good tank, but it was before EBRs and before ELCs were that common, so I haven't played this line perhaps since 2020 or so. Somehow I think that the worst is sheridan, both are very rare.
I think you should do median instead of average on the index community ratings because it will be closer to reality. With averages 1 5 star rating by a troll pulls too much upwards.
Problem with community ratings is the average skill level now, where many of them don't have the skill level to differentiate, its by far the worst T10 Lt and would seem anything with tracks is 2 star fun.
You have to play at least 50 battles with a tank to rate it, 50 is enough to build an informed opinion about a tank. And that’s all the ratings are, opinions.

Tbh this light tank is not that bad if you use it right, it's the heaviest light and many maps have spots where lights rush and nobody else can shoot you, you easily win by ramming them because this tank is for some reason heavy as fuck. And if you gonna keep moving this tank can bounce. The thing i hate is this 5 depression and DPM, which means you cant even use the turret armor which is also kinda meh. But yeah the ramming tactic somehow happens very often in this tank and won me many light battles.
IDK how it manages to be the worst. In every aspect its right in the middle of all other light tanks. View range, camo, weapon, armor, profile. And all other light tanks are at least 2 stars. So youd not expect the average of 2 star to 5 star tanks to be 1 star
Its not that bad..definitly harder to play than French paper ones. and turret can bounce specially in low tier mm instead of other LTs. All it need si s gun deperssion to -8 and bit of accuraci boost.
This tank didn't have a chance..why??..2 months after the introduction they had the wheeles and the amx 105 in theyr pockets...they introduce a tank just to be obliterated in speed and soft stats by the frenchies dreams of a tank..and then they added the manticore etc...better stats in everything than the chinese LT..for 1 month and a half it was one of the best LT..
I am a filthy console peasant so my opinion is null and void. I always thought the Manticore was the worst. They nerfed it to the ground on console. At least the Chinese tier X light is decent at hitting targets on the move

This. Back then there were diversit when less tanks. But WG decided (poor decision) to unify more or less tech trees.

It’s has good alpha reload and accuracy. Long skinny barrel shoots hard fast and accurate.
Longer barrel compresses the round for longer increase its velocity and dmg at range.
Sheridan is awful
