As good as it gets. Mind blowing. Can't find the words. I'm a huge Zappa fan going back to the 70's when I was a teenager and I'm a multi-instrumentalist, too, so I completely understand what you are doing on a musical and technical level. I watched you do this during the live broadcast and there's NO WAY I could walk into a room and just do all of that and I don't know of anybody else that could, either. I really couldn't be more impressed. Fantastic. I've spent a large chunk of my life aiming at what you do (well...on and off) and now somebody exists that can actually DO IT and you're just a fraction of my age! I look forward to the day when the rest of the world catches up to who you are and what you are doing. Frank Zappa and Keith Emerson are two of my top favorites. I can't believe that you exist! I'm sure if Frank witnessed this his brain would have exploded and he would have put you to work right away. REALLY fantastic. I wish you good health and continued success and I'm looking forward to seeing your documentary and future videos.
The Emerson Moog/Hammond rendition of Tarkus brought tears to my eyes, but this, young lady, had me stupidly grinning from ear to ear, from start to finish... Grinning from disbelieve, amazement, joy... and all the other "jaw on floor, mind blown" emotions that popped up. Being able to play Emerson is incredible. *Also* playing Zappa, and not just the keys but the whole shebang, is... beyond impossible.
Just came across Rachel for the first time right now, not only nails this better than anyone I've heard before... but also played with Thijs van Leer..? Where the hell has she been my whole life. Incredible, speechless, just speechless.
I'm inspired. I've been kicking around an idea for a while about creating a space for people who love playing Zappa Style music but I always find a reason not to bother. Time to get off my toadstool and start working, thanks Rachel.
Holy shit that was incredible. It is unbelievable a blind person can operate all that recording equipment and software and play all the instruments on a very complicated frank zappa song with no help at all and do it at a professional level. I hope the whole world hears and sees her soon. Such an extraordinary gift to be born with such musical talent.
I was so blown away when I stumbled across Rachel playing ELP, my friend's and my favorite music from high school in the 70s. At that time I wished she'd try playing some Zappa...THEN SHE DID!!! My brain left my body and ran down the street and into a bar for a drink.
I remember seeing Freak Out in high school, a guy brought it to school. I was a senior, 1966. Probably my favorite, Overnight Sensation......................
I can't add anything to the previous comments about Rachel. I would like to say excellent job of assembling all those videos from the live feed - fantastic!
This is incredible! To echo what some other folks have said: most people don't even approach this music because of the sheer complexity - Rachel performs ALL OF IT - from top to bottom, beginning to end... and does it WELL!
I love how you laugh at 2:40! When I'm home and sing this at the top of my lungs and really going after it; you can't help but laugh! This song is pure joy
I have played this a half dozen times. Great personality and interpretation of Zappa from Rachel. Zappa's impossible place of intelligent cool and funny all at the same time. This track is a lot of fun.
Everyone praises Rachel, however I noticed one difference in mood. I remember when I heard this for the first time, I jumped under the bed because I was so scared. And the guitar solos caused a reaction where I reached up to grab more covers to protect myself from those horrifying notes. Frank scared me with this song. And so I lived my scarred life until...Rachel played the same song. I should have been scared, but I was so in awe of her talent, that for the first time in my adult life, I looked at the person playing those terrifying notes. And I realized that the song was a parody of a scary situation, and that I was not in danger. There was no Zombie Woof. My nightmares were now over. The way she played showed my traumatised 60 year child-like soul that this song was just jazz fusion, played expertly by Frank Zappa and a large group of talented musicians, all experts in their field. But their was only Rachel playing every instrument as if it was her result of years of playing that one instrument. And she was killing it. And so I came out from under the bed, and I actually jumped on the bed with joy that one person could posess all this talent. But then I thought, is she the Zombie Woof?
FanTASTic Rachael! Seriously gonna say this, not only are your musical tastes in the music I grew up with in the 70’s, what I called “my music”, the same, but your renditions and everything you do with it move me to tears! The same joy I felt with this stuff back then, before I learned that being an outsider was okay, I feel again, but now with acceptance. Thank you, I love you.
I don't know what to say, This song left me speechless. I think I would have passed out if she was playing the drums too! Ms. Flowers is absolutely incredible!
I don't understand why this doesn't have 5 million views! This is incredible. And the two people who gave it thumbs down must not understand that Rachel is blind and did 100% of this herself.
WOW. Absolutely perfect rendition and I am a gigantic Zappa fan. That was just AMAZING. I saw you play "Montana" with Dweezil and was very impressed, but this just blew me away. You absolutely nailed it doing ALL the parts, even vocals. I would absolutely love to hear you do Zappa's piece "Watermelons in Easter Hay" or "Black Napkins". Please consider treating us to that, okay? BTW: I love ALL of your stuff, you are SO talented. It is a joy to listen to.

I like your idea that Frank would put her to work. It'd be like: "Where you going? you're in the band!" - a la Steve Vai.
@@pcm7315 Frank would be like "I hear Linda Ronstadt is looking for a keyboard player" 😂
I suspect Mr Zappa would have been delighted.
Shes not only the reincarnation of Keith Emerson, but also plays the guitar just like Zappa. This woman is a miracle.
Picking jaw up off floor.
Wow so few would or could attempt to do these crazy and Challenging Zappa jazz/Fusion songs, but Rachel does EVERYTHING !!!!! Amazing talent ! : )
with ease. this is effortless for her
Rachel are my favorite musicians...yes, musicians!
FRANK ZAPPA LIVES! Close your eyes and he is there!
How the HELL is it that this woman doesn’t have over a million subscribers? A prog rock phenom. Keep going!
God gave us Frank, then God gave us Rachel. Thanks God!

She's supernatural. I'm glad she's with us. She's one of a kind.

Apparently she visualizes all this music in her mind....I'm guessing cause I have no clue how she does this one woman Zappa thing
Wow. Yet again im.blown awsy by Rachels incredible talent. The sound of her guitar is extrenely close to Frank himself. Awsome stuff.

Not only are the music and vocals brilliant, Rachel goes into some serious Frank territory with her killer guitar solo. Spectacular talent!!!!

I love this video, it's insane, especially, I didn't know it was possible to play drums like that on the keyboard. bottom right.
I don't know what to say, This song left me speechless. I think I would have passed out if she was playing the drums too! Ms. Flowers is absolutely incredible!
She's playing the drums live on keyboard, see the bottom right window.

Incredible guitar work, and when she layers her voice you understand just how tone perfect she is. Ecstasy.
Nice to see Dweezil invites her to play with them, because if Frank was still with us he would have her in his band in a split second.
Oh my, this is even MORE incredible now!
Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
