Nobody has more balls than Maiden. For a legacy band, kicking off the set with a new tune, particularly when it’s a half-tempo song rather than their trademark gallop… these guys are FEARLESS.
My only criticism is they keep sticking to the same songs. What about all the other killer songs in their back catalogue they never play: e.g. The Prisoner, 22 Acacia Avenue, Caught Somewhere in Time, Infinite Dreams, etc.
@@johnflavin1602 caught somewhere in time is actually very crazy on bass , I just can't keep up .. the trooper is easy in comparison , run to the hills is also very fast already , infinite dreams is also tricky , but possible since they slowed down the tempos

This was the first metal show I ever went to at 28 years old with my wife, been listening to maiden since I was a kid and was absolutely taken to another world at this concert. Up the irons!
How in the hell are these guys not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Still putting out new music, playing to packed houses, and a great stage show.
Bruce doesn’t care for the HoF. He even said it himself in an article a few years back: “they can stick it!” 😂
I agree. The hall is just a circle-jerk of elitist d bags who wouldn't know their ass from their elbow. Maiden is too good for the hall

I was wondering if anyone besides me would notice that the intro was a UFO song. I think Maiden is great but I'm also a big UFO/Michael Schenker fan as well.

They often use that “Doctor Doctor” song after the show as well, as the sign that encores are done and it’s time to leave.
@@MattSkosh That's interesting. I've seen them many times in London & after their concerts here the song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from Monty Python. However, "Doctor Doctor" starts the concerts here too. Maiden are great to see in concert!
I was at the Tulsa gig on 9/15. My 23 year old daughter came with me. She was blown away too. Without a doubt the BEST concert I've ever been to . They were PHENOMENAL. Great night.

VERY CLASSY. U F O TOOK MAIDEN UNDER THERE WING IN THERE BEGINNING. THEY SHOW THERE RESPECT BY ALWAYS STARTING THE SHOW WITH DOCTOR DOCTOR. CLASS MAN.
Putting that kind of power into your singing is no easy feat. He must have iron lungs. Incredible how these guys stay on such a high level so consistently over all these years and only get better like a fine aged wine with time…I heard Revelations on Live After Death when I was 11 years old, I’m 47 now and this song still sounds beyond words. Listening to this song here and hearing a voice I’ve heard most of my life is life affirming. Pure goosebumps…
and to think Bruce has tongue cancer and operations a few years back! he almost sounds better! Best band in history without question.

I first saw Maiden on the world slavery tour... man, those were the magical days. But I have to say they sound and look fantastic in 2022. Maiden Forever!
Piece Of Mind was a mind blowing tour. I laugh at a lot of these acts today, having grown up seeing Maiden, Priest and Rush on a number of occasions. Nobody puts the time and effort into the visuals as much as the music then those guys did back in the day.

Saw them in 83 too with Fastway & Saxon at the Long Beach Arena.
I was there with my daughter. Her first concert ever. Needless to say, she was blown away! It will be an experience we'll cherish for ever.

This was my first time seeing Maiden. My daughter bought tickets for my Christmas gift so I waited 9 months. My two daughters and my daughters bf went. We all got our first taste of Iron Maiden. What a great experience!!!

First time I saw Iron Maiden was at Day on the Green in '82 in Oakland, CA on the Number of the Beast tour. Bruce sounds just as good today as he did back then! Best live band ever!

I can't wait to see these guys later in October in DC. It'll be my 4th show and I know I will have the time of my life. Maiden never disappoints.

This is just amazing! Mr.Dickinson is super strong! All the band rocks like they are in their 20s... man! What a longevity! Nothing but respect! Best heavy metal band in the world! Up The Irons!
A tribute to Bruce is the fact this is being videod probably from a go pro or something up in the high seats nowhere near the stage, yet his voice is that powerful and distinct that it still sounds just as amazing as their recordings. I highly recommend that if you've never been to a Maiden show. You treat yourself, its an experience. The show rivals the music and its indescribable. Great job to the person who shot this video and many thanks

50 yr old metal head here and I'm glad to say THIS show was the first show I got to see with my younger brother who came out CA to visit. We saw Rammstein a couple days later and that was epic on a whole other level!

Great show! Thanks for recording this for posterity. I was there with two of my daughters. It was their first "metal" rock show and they loved it. It had been since 1988 that I last saw Maiden and they were still as great as ever. It is truly remarkable how much energy these not so young men have on stage. Bruce and Janick especially are on fire all night long. And how does Bruce keep that voice for 2 hours?!? Brilliant.

saw them in buffalo ny right before covid hit. first time seeing them. wish i saw them back in the day but.. still best concert and experience ever! \m/ up the irons!

Thanks for posting this! I was there that night (I was the second person to go over the barrier in the pony tail) and that was my first show, plus first to the barrier with my dad. Once I got to the back of the Honda Center, I was unable to get any photos or videos, so this is very appreciated to help relive this memory!
Just think about how miles they have traveled over the years. IRON MAIDEN they are the GOAT.
I was there on the 2nd night and as someone who Has seen them 13 times this was by far or one of the top 2 shows I've seen Long Beach arena being #1. They were sharp,sounded awesome and they carried the energy all the way through. Maiden is my all time favorite band and the best as far as playing live. No other band can compare. If you've never seen Maiden, do yourself a favor and go,you won't regret it

Heavy Metal is such a pure form of art and music , and has been there for many people for many years . Generations identify with this music more than anything else , for many people this is a form of Religion and Nationality in a sense .

Saw my first Maiden concert in 82 and saw the first 4 American shows of this tour in early September ! This tour was way better then Book Of Souls !! They got better !

Me and my 12 year old son caught their last stop in tampa Florida last Thursday!! We drove 8 hours to see the show!! It was my first time seeing them and my sons first time also and his first time at a concert of this magnitude!! Unforgettable night and I’m glad I got to share that moment with my son!!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Maiden the biggest band hand's down 💯🤘they are known all over the world that's beyond bad ass 💯 I've been a fan since 81 I was 14 year's old and when I saw maiden for the first time back in 82 the summer strut @ Anaheim stadium with the scorpions loverboy and Foreigner OMG they just ruled it the scorpions & maiden just ruled that Day then two months later they would play together 🤘🤘 beyond awesome again! Maiden 4life!

I was there at that concert. Was in the lower area like on the ice area and had a perfect view of the stage. My dad missed Eddie coming up from the stage during Iron Maiden. Overall it’s a good concert and I wanna see them again soon.
