Been using this method for 13/14 years. Something else you have to take into consideration is the amount of line the 'bubble' has to drag through the water while sinking. In my opinion you need more water/weight the further you cast out.
Nicde Video, could you tell me where Ican buy what you describe as the teardrop shape bubble float. Cant seem to find anything like it on line other than an a version from Rainbow Plastics in the USA, which icant find anyone in the UK who stocks them
Here you go Brian. I use these. But there are lots of similar things out there. mosquitoangling.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&filter_tag=zig-float-surface-float-fishing&product_id=278
Used this method for at least ten years but before these sinking floats we used widgets out off cans off bitter banned on most matches now we’re I fish
Yeah I know a lot of venues have banned it. I discuss this in an earlier rant video as in my opinion, it doesn't harm fish and is just another evolution in catching them, people just need to keep up! I'm saying that as someone who wasn't a fan initially too, love pellet waggler fishing but just wasn't as good at my local waters, so why put yourself at a disadvantage? Suck it up and learn a new method!!!
Suck what up mate ? Am not knocking the method just saying it’s band in most match waters were I fish and it’s not a new method really been going for years like I said any way have a nice day mate
🤣 Not you Marc, anglers who want something banned because it's doing too well! The fact that you and others looked at the fish, thought "how can we target them in the upper layers/mid water", went and devised something to do it (widgets, and I heard of lots of other everyday items used) and then started having success should be championed, not banned - as long as the method is safe!
Where ledgers and feeders must be free running someone is going to complain these are effectively ledgers if they are not free running eg pellet waggled with float stops. Would this work without he top stop ( I’m thinking it would) I’m going to give this a try. Our club whiner will be all over me trying to find fault if I beat him with this… should be fun 🤣
Great video mate thanks for explaining about the rods and line also Cheers

Sorry mate haaa miss read the message
Maybe a video of setting the whole sinker up properly would have helped..
It's a live match video so not an instructional one as such, but it's a fair point Thomas and I'll try and show a bit more of the rigs next time. 👍
🤔
