- The First ever Bi-Rotor Tilt Rotor Copter Drone built and it flew absolutely amazing. Sadly the greedy manufacturer just wanted money rather than making this concept even better and bringing this tech out for consumer grade drones. Greed ruined the the project. wish I had money to get this project going and I would have a top ten drone company in China now already. I could have built a full sized 2 seater version of this bicopter too.

I'm AMAZED that no one has thought of this as a 'Full Size' aircraft. The simplification of the helicopter would make them affordable to many more people. The model is Far more maneuverable than your typical co-axial
Hmmm , i'm not sure what kind of background you have in aviation , but a full size version would be far more complicated to build , which in turn would only increase the cost to produce it . As i quick for instance 3 gearboxes would be needed to transfer the power to the 2 rotors , instead of the 1 each on a standard 500 . I also doubt it would be any easier to fly , than a conventional helicopter , so basically it's not cost effective . Sorry mate .

The canopy is awesome. The only thing is they need to change the end of the tail shaft to something that looks a bit better, but other than that I can't wait until it's released so I can purchase one for myself!!!!!

That was our original American concept. Developed in 1953 used as a ship to shore 6,000 lb forklift. Training for the lady that originally flew it was 4 hours. Counter rotating props mad simpler flying and amassing lift. If the ARMY Hadn't decided that it was too easy to fly. It would have no doubt been in many of our driveways. And that's why it wasn't their for the people that worked at the WTC on 9/11.

Hey Ali, this project is coming along very well. Looks stable and seems to have enough power to find the breeze. It seems to react like a coaxial heli but sure looks cooler than one.

Thats a really good question Matthew, good point. If someone makes a decent size well weighted model they could try it out and see what happens.
I've watched this video about 10 times, I can't wait until it goes into production. I will be ordering one as soon as they will let me. Also do some more vids on it if you have time.

very stable flight. i guess they´d like to make a manned chopper like this.
2 servos nicking 2 motor gondolas and 3 gyros i´d say. the v-22 osprey has 2 swashplates on top of that, i dont know if they are fixed or pitchable but it makes the partlist grow immensly.

It's a pretty background. But it makes you wonder, how many copters have ended up in the water? There's no other field nearby to use (hopefully away from water)?
So many comments and views! Posted in 2011... quite a while ago, before multirotors were so freakin popular. I've seen plenty of videos on youtube on bicopter builds, and surprised I'm just finding this now. Most kinda wobble too much on acceleration and deceleration. I'm kind of surprised how little this one does that. I was trying to see if there was something in the tail, but seems not. A lot of bicopters are actually like 2 1/2 rotors - people cheating on the tail, adding a little tail rotor much like the little 3ch coaxials to help acceleration and deceleration. This seems to be a true bicopter that works well. Like another commenter, I'm really surprised it isn't available for sale. o.O

very cool, u can add tail air foil wing on to the back, instead of little winglets. N full size ship, scout version the tail wings could easily fold away under & over thin rear spine. N real version the whole under over blades could b used too.
