Lol perfect time, i just had a conversation with someone on reddit. Op posted a memento decklist and this guy arrive telling that it's not a Memento deck since it run handtraps, and that he was running a pure 42 only Memento cards, saying that handtraps are not needed. Amd he was so convinced about it. I asked him what he does against a full negate board going second. He said that he might lose but a lot of decks struggle going second.💀 Spoiler, if you use handtraps, you can win even when going second.
Running 0 hand traps in any deck is stupid these days, guy needs help with deck building

Well.... You "can" deal with a full negate endboard going second without handtraps
Just play 3x black hole, 2x raigeki, lightning strike, 3x lava golem, kaijus etc

I mean i made it to masters with pure Rda,only handtraps i used were max C an Impermanence and i barely used em as intended , part 1 is up on Fafnirs channel 'Fafnir Master duel"
So nah handtraps aren't necessarily to win,running 16 hand traps an still losing is wild tho

So im not gonna run the spoly build but i am only missing 3 Angwitch and 1 Guardian Chimera, is it worth to craft those 4 cards?

Guardian chimera you almost never summon it so you can go without it

You either discard it with dark blade’s summon effect
Or destroy it with bone party, or destroy it with twin dragon
Goblin is one card combo
Ns goblin effect send kuriboh and fusion spell, kuriboh effect reborn it and active his effect to grab the fusion, activate the fusion for twin dragon and u can play
Both mace and goblin one card combo but they take your normal summon, also ghattic is not a problem if sheep and conqueror are here
Is the deck worth making now compared to everything else i got a bit of dust left
As someone who plays Memento a lot in ocg, the answer is yes and no, no because it is not strong right now, yes because it will become strong with sheep and conqueror and Memento is just pure fun and unlike most decks you cannot expect Memento support because Memento is not linear and is the type that becomes 10 Stronger with every new card, even if the card is not that strong either. creation best ace monster and Memento has the best artwork and design I seen , Also, Memento with sheep and conqueror is very competitive in ocg, so I advise you to wait for sheep and conqueror
It’s cheap so it’s worth it, and it’ll get better when the new support drops

There’s this one time I played vs labrynth twice in a row, went second twice in a row, had feather duster in my hand twice in a row, lady destroyed it from my hand TWICE IN A ROW

most interesting of this is that most monsters are 1ish card combo on its own so effectively u wont brick with memento archetype... haha im curious how we can improve this decks strengths and resistance against handtraps cuz they just need a little bit more consistency

Memento is certainly complex, but it’s not THAT bad to understand the combo lines. Thank goodness there weren’t anybody running Droll.
Similar to Rescue-ACE, once the end board is setup with Combined Creation, it’s hard to out if you’re not prepared.

@@andreperry7995droll does not hurt Memento You can do full combo under droll, but I do not know how capable this is in the absence of sheep and conqueror

Momento deck is cheap compare to horus which ridiculous expensive. The draw back momento it need time to learn a combo. Funny enough we still missing some momento card.

Keep in mind combined creation can only attack everything if it’s the only monster on the field, I made a slight mistake in the video regarding that

@@AyuNico ofc they can, if they play alot, just need to maintain winrate at 51% or above. But its combo is very easy to stop by any handtrap. So, it will be a challenge to climb master 1 with this desk.
Bro u run like 15 ht and 15 start, card to dodge imperma/veiler (boneparty, fusion spell) and the deck dont suffer nibiru so much, im m1 and i play this deck lol

@@proqueanh its a little difficult to learn, but the deck is still a rogue for now (for me the best rogue) or low t2 but with the supports (INFO) defenitely t2 deck, this deck has much potential
