Great to see you trying boulders that aren't your usual style. Looking forward to seeing you climbing outdoors again in the spring. Hope that you've been able to train over the winter?
Thanks Simon 👍 Yep will getting out when ever the weather allows. Training has been ticking along over the winter and we are just getting stuck in to the next training phase. Thanks for watching and commenting 👊
I’m still relatively new to bouldering, but what’s with knee-guilt? I’ve never been told it’s wrong, or I shouldn’t do it, but a couple of times I’ve used a knee on a foothold that my positioning wouldn’t let me get a foot to - It felt like a using a cheeky dab on a hold from a different problem. I don’t know why it feels wrong (it usually helps me correct positioning to continue as normal), but it does feel like I’ve cheated if I use a knee & I’ve no idea why!
Hi Will, Thanks for watching and your comment. There is an old adage that if you can get your knee on the hold you should be able to get to get your foot on it. So it sometimes deemed as bad technique to use a knee. The advantage of using your foot rather than your knee is that you can then push up with your leg something that you can't really do from your knee. The reality is that it is sometimes easier to use your knee, readjust your hands and then change the knee to a foot. So if it feels easier to use a knee, then go for it. Hope that helps a bit All the best Brett & Sophie
Still waiting for that climbing shoe review of the unparallel souped up. I have some specific questions about them: 1) Are they as soft as the la sportiva theory? 2) Are they similar to the scarpa dragos? 3) Will the current normal volume souped ups be okay for narrow climbing feet? I always get lv climbing shoes because I have very narrow feet. 4) Will they be making a LV variant of the souped ups?
Good to see you guys back on youtubeee!!
Thanks Jonathan! Good to be back 👊
Good to see you uploading again
Yes please do a kilter board video
It would be interested in seeing a review of UP Flagship. A similar one to the review of the TN pro. Thx in advance
