  • 💪💪Caste Iron Tubs are heavy 💪💪
That's why I rented this power mate stair climbing dolly 😃
To be honest, this is the first time I ever used one...
It worked well. Just a little bit of a learning curve on short narrow steps. You want to be sure the dolly is resting on stairs before activating the power lift 👍
I will most certainly be renting these in the future!
$100 for the day verses asking a friend to help break their back with me 😄
Who knows, maybe I'll buy one - bit.ly/3ZqzZNz
By the way, this is my new UA-cam Studio 🙌🙌
I will be installing more bathrooms with better video quality to help you PLAN, LEARN & BUILD your Dream Bathroom
Enroll in the DIY GEEK MEMBERSHIP (One-time payment, that's it) 😊
You'll get all of my courses & future ones. I assure you it will save you time & money 👊

Awesome video and great machine. My only concern would be beautiful finished treads and risers.

👍 that’s what I had meant to say 😆 possibly scratching nice steps and being careful to not let it slip on carpet

Deja vu of when 3 of us moved a heavy and bulky hot tub down steps with ropes from a deck onto a driveway. Luckily no one got 'smashed!'

That was interesting to observe. Is the tub just being stored in the attic or is it being installed up there? Very nice tub.

Just got done cut and hammed one of these and chug it in 4 trash bins. I’m glad my orange bathroom is done. I’m not sure why would anyone use cast iron tubs anymore, but if u slip and drop that while going up the stair then u sure will get a hole in the wall and wreck the stairs

because they hold the warmth of the water and they aren't made of plastic.

I’m not sure y anyone would want a piece of crap plastic tub? How long does it last? not long like your bath time lol

@@ImanuelMesiah grown adults take bath? You would fill it up with 50 gallon of warm water and spend hours to bath in it like a toddler? These tub are color faded from the 60’s and resurfacing it will still get pain chip after spending a large amount

    • @Derpherppington
      @Derpherppington Місяць тому

@@samd1405 yes because grown adults need to take a bath with 50 gallon of warm water daily in busted faded iron tub from last century. One slip in an iron tub would crack your skull and a plastic tub just be a bump

@@Derpherppington Adults take baths all the time. You ever heard of soaking tired or sprained muscles? Some people actually have separate showers too so slipping is not an issue. I have a brand new cast iron tub not one from last century. Enjoy your microplastics. Lord, you are cranky. Get help
