Square dance - Climbing Up the Golden Stairs

Traditional singing square dance, recorded in West Newbury, VT, on July 24, 2010. The caller and fiddler is Adam Boyce, accompanied by piano player Donna Weston. Adam warned the dancers that after going through the figures three times, he was going to speed up the tempo the last time through.

Adam,
Nice of you to respond. We have a jam session every Tues in Nashville (Mich), Everyone gets to do a solo if they want to, duuring the two hour round and square dance session. Half way through we have two sq dances. I have been getting sq dance insructions for the last year and enjoy it as much as fiddling. Your videos are a big help in learnig the moves, so keep em comin. @n5393c Glad you still like the video, Roy. My personal favorite is Virginia Reel, with Listen to the Mockingbird a close second (I scold someone for kissing my wife a little too long!).
