I was a void lock in pvp but with all the changes that were made I started using stasis to slow it down. I may have to try this out for sure, especially that new aspect. Appreciate this!
I use Astrocyte Verse instead of Ophidians because I felt like I relied too much on the increased melee lunge and added handling. I use Exalted truth and Conditional Finality, both with very high handling and great for shutting down supers and a high speed playstyle. If the leaks are true, then Astrocyte is getting a buff and I can't be more excited. People sleep on it and underestimate a good Blink player. I'm not amazing , but I've seen some impressive plays made by blinking warlocks.
personally I adore blink but since they removed grenade monching, maybe secants are worth ? with all the quick healing voidlock has, I wonder if recovery is really even needed
@@raphaeltseng1380 yeah but with devour, the meele aspect, and the overshield aspect, is recov super necessary without secant ? you're still basically unkillable
Very surprised that you don't value mobility. I find a minimum of 5 mobility is necessary to peek shoot against good players. I aim for 7 mob and 6 resil because the strafe speed whilst ads is too important to me. I would encourage you to experiment with it.
Great point. I ran 1-3 mob for literal years and found it very difficult to strafe/peak shoot. Only after stepping up to 4-6 mob did I see any benefits
@@Apathettic thats good to hear that you enjoy at least something. I just can't bring myself to play casual game with sbmm. I enjoy faceit a lot rn, and my investment in skins went nuclear with cs2. Do you think they would reverse it, or it will stay in the game forever?
The issue isn’t sbmm imo. It’s sbmm without a good team balancing along with it. Iron banner solo queue was brutal solo queue with my skill rating. I was setup with impossible odds of winning regularly. Had to play very well and abuse stasis osmiomancy for eruption since it boosted ability spam to help slow down the inevitable snowballing coming my teams way. Worked quite well and I started boosting up the win rate through the week. Their lobby balancing has always been the biggest issue
@@Apathettic The problems with the melee are that it doesn’t do very much damage (can’t even do an uncharged + charged melee combo) which really sucks for cleanups, it often tracks into a wall instead of around it (like with Slowva and Child of the Old Gods), and the actual momentum throw is so inconsistent that it often helps opponents rather than hindering them. The only uses I have for it are for cleanups when a weak opponent is hiding around a wall (see the wall problem above), activating devour on a weak opponent, and occasionally architecting a shoulder charge warrior.
@@kitanat9944 In those use cases it makes sense that you wouldn't be a fan. I enjoy using it to slow down aggressive pushes and have found it works much better in those scenarios.

I always get excited when u drop wideo and this one is on my favorite subclass ...nice video as always
Thank you!
I was literally just watching back your Lunafaction boots video. Nice to see a new upload!
So does pulse monitor help the handling of all your weapons? Dope build man. Can't wait to try it.
Voidlock is always my go-to and where my ❤️ is. Been using solar lately, but need to try that new aspect now
It's so good!
@@Apathettic Will try tonight
Thank you for the information, I suck at pvp but through trial and error, am hoping to get better. your vids are very helpful.

I keep telling myself I need to try blink with Astro but my damn ophidians have me in a choke hold lol

is it necessary to use a void weapon for the build?
Not it is not! Just a “nice to have”

I personally use secant filaments for the on demand devour. I should try suppressor nade on warlock since I use it on Titan. Great video!

Lmao. Only reason he thinks mobility is important is he’s a low fps console player. When fps is normalized it isn’t even measurable in peaking

Pulse monitor on heavy weapons doesn't give the benefits to your other 2 weapons. I'm surprised you don't know this.

@@Apathettic Hey man, you shouldn't listen to people like me, I'm just a hater because I'm a miserable person.

IMO IB is awful but things like competitive and QP I still enjoy.

I like most of the kit, but the melee absolutely sucks, and Nova Bomb can be sooo inconsistent.
I disagree on the melee. But I feel your pain on NB!
