@@mycatsnameiskaren8253 YAY! I’m so happy you finally found it. I’m coming out w another pointillist tutorial in a few weeks. So stay tuned… and keep making art!
WOW! Your video is AMAZING! THANK YOU very very much for sharing all your knowledge and skills of this art technique of which I did not know anything. I wish you the best! Keep shining your art light for the whole world!
When I seen this video I SUBSCRIBED instantly!! 🤗 I am absolutely in love with you're work. I'm totally looking forward to binge watching all of you're vids 🤣🙈❤
@@rainbowparrotart : you're more than welcome! But truthfully the praise goes to you. I would like to use this opportunity to Thank you so much for taking the time to upload such beautiful content for all of us to see. I've always been very intrigued with watching people paint. I just love to see the Creations that people make and all the beautiful colors.... It's just so breathtaking to me. So I decided that I wanted to give it a shot and bring out the artist in myself. I've been on UA-cam binge-watching numerous videos but out of the majority of them, yours stands out the most to me.The reason being is the way you take the time to truly break down what you're doing and teach us step-by-step that way we fully understand what we're doing and that just speaks volumes on the type of caring & incredible person you are . You even take the time to educate us on the history behind the paintings which I find very fascinating. I have yet to come across someone with the same teaching techniques that you use so it's safe to say , you're one of a kind. ❤🌹 I've done a few paintings of my own, but I've been having major trouble with getting past the perfectionism part. Its been holding me back the most. The fear of messing up and ruining what I'm trying to do. The perfectionism is what's holding me back from actually being able to learn and to grow. So my question to you ; Is there any advice you can give me in that aspect? Not just in that aspect but in any and all aspects? I'm willing to take any advice you're willing to give. I would truly be grateful . Thank you in advance .
@@sunshinebaby92 Wow that is truly the nicest compliment I've ever gotten on UA-cam. Thanks for the reminder that I have something to share with the world. Great question about perfectionism. I struggle with this too! I have jokingly narrated while I'm filming myself doing a project, "Welcome to my video where I pretend to know what I'm doing!" I edit out all the negative self talk so you don't hear it when you watch the videos. I try to stay focused on the people who will watch and enjoy the videos. I am blessed to teach art to elementary school students. We do the projects in my videos. So, for me, I don't focus on whether or not I like my art (thankfully, because that would make me miserable haha). Instead, I focus on how much joy the kids will feel when they do the projects. And that's what motivates me to keep going and keep putting myself out there. I wish I had a better answer for you. The kids are my teachers. They are masters of fun and playfulness. I'm always trying to be more like them 💜
Hi! How long did it take you to do this in real time? Also, did you start getting bored part of the way through with it? I ask because I'm so bad at finishing projects I start (ie crocheting; collages; paintings). I think it's because of the redundancy: or possibly because I get tired of looking at the same thing for too long. I don't know. It's weird. Anyway, I have thought, several times in the past, that trying this style would be fun. The main thing stopping me is the time it would take to complete a painting in this style.
Hi! Probably about 4 hours. I hear you. It can be hard to start, especially if you're working alone. I hope you'll keep making art, and keep making it fun for yourself.
This video is highly underrated! Nice work!
