When it comes to acoustic covers of any song, Ellie Goulding knows the deal. The best thing about is her raw voice & her special accent adding an extra layer of emotion in it. She should again start exploring her folk/Indie roots for her upcoming album.
I agree, I'd love to see her revisit the "Lights" soundscape. It was such a perfect blend of folk and electro pop.
@@emotion_deluxe music at that time was so good. Lungs by Florence + the Machine was right around then too and was a blend of indie + electronic. People have kind of gotten away from the electronic sounds and I miss it so bad. Lungs and Lights both had such a good blend of both and it gave both of those albums such an interesting sound that neither Ellie nor Florence has made since
