@Jebbie, so, I opened mine out of curiosity and put everything back as it should be but, the key that I have has now failed to be read/recognized by the car. I cannot lock/open or start the car. I searched online but no one seemed to have a real solution. 1. Temporarily, I installed a 3rd party alarm for me to be able to lock/open 2. I use the Centre console reader to be able to start the car. 3. The fuel door refused to open recently and I’m now stuck with only worth of 50km of fuel left. 4. I drive a Volvo XC40 2018 - R Design - Petrol (20 inch rim) I need a lasting solution. Any ideas or guidance?
Hello, it sounds like you have a much bigger issue. It definitely can’t offer any technical any advice on this. You should get your service advisor to look at this. Sorry you are having issues that must be a little frustrating.
You get two keys but they are fully functional and can be paired. If you are a long time Volvo owner who liked the sport key, it can be ordered separately. Thanks for the comment

On my European MY21Right hand drive inscription the manual unlock is on the passenger side so not so easy.
