You can also make soft or hardboiled eggs in an airfryer, I do it in mine all the time. For a soft boiled egg (in my airfryer) its no pre heating , and then put the eggs in the basket and put them in for 9-10 minutes on 120°c. No need to poke a hole in the eggs, you can just put them in.
The halfway beep is actually THE feature I miss on most airfryers. We need more Xiaomi products to be available here in The Netherlands tho. I am in love with the brand an their products, but the import, shipping and tax fees are killer.
Excellent review The part where you explained the initial difficulty in opening closing bucket was good No other review touched that For a new user like me who took this opening difficulty as a defect it was a good advice
Excellent review as always. So much information, given quickly and clearly. I'm a Xiaomi devotee as well (I'm in Shanghai) - we've bought so many things from them and not one dud (touch wood!!!). Keep doing your thing, you have a winning method :)
@@robertsivonjic5080 I got one now, and sale for $60. So buying 2 of them is not that expensive right now. 2 of them is a total of 7 litre capacity, the Philips airfrier i looked at, with 7.3 is $200 right now.

Dear Xiaomify, is there any way to change the display into minutes and second? For example for now it shows 00:05 (minutes) but actually it 4½ minutes left. So it should be displayed at 00:04:30 or 04:30 and counting down. Thanks
When do you spray oil when cooking/using air fryer? Coz I found others use oil sprayer, at first I thought this is oil-free, right, but why are they using oil sprayer?
Without oil is food dried (little), but I dont use oil and dont have problems, for me it is tasty. Frozen prepared food, like wings or so is sometimes oiled and then it is for me not so tasty.
Hi xiaomify recently bought mi airfryer bec. Ur review =) I just got a concern can u check urs if it’s really like this not perfectly aligned safety switch located at the bottom where u insert the tray. Tnx
Am I correct in my understanding that the non-global Chinese version has a model number of MAF01 while the Global English version has a model number of MAF02?
You can put it frozen. I dont have this, I have 2 Tefal (big and small), but I put frozen wings, strips, potatoes, chicken, fishes, ... and simply start it. I use it for hamburger meat too :-)
Man, Xiaomi in China is like Samsung in Korea. We just lost track of whatever they make and whatever they sell. And yet not so many people even know they make that or they make this.
@@benjjjjsin why would i eat that though? I usually use the main oven for that. I was interested in something solely to make French fries and nothing more without all the nasty oil but using this one kind of air frier the chips are way too dry.
I have had this appliance for about 7 month. It’s been good so far approximately but I have some problem with cooking whole chicken in it. The look is so great and delicious but the inside is not cooked properly. This is my first air fryer and I don’t have any references to compare just like you. I’m looking forward to finding that what the problem is. Is it that the air fryer not being proper for this kind of dish or the problem is the power of Xiaomi air fryer?
I used Air fryer since 2 years and I switched back to deep fryer. The main reason was that potatoes or chicken came out very dry in air fryer, I think its the constant blowing of hot air. In deep fryer the moisture is trapped and consumes very less oil compared to shallow fry. Sometimes I use my electric oven, I add some water to keep the potatoes or meat and it stays moist.
Xiaomi had several air fryers for many years, glad to see one being reviewed properly
This was the first Xiaomi product I got. I got along with the Mi electric kettle (not the smart one). Now I'm hooked and I want every Xiaomi product.
Me too lol I got a fan and a scale they’re awesome!!!
I got a fitness band and the ear buds and I'm so happy. I ordered the air fryer, can't wait!!!!

Always poke a hole in the egg, extremely dangerous as the egg can explode and potentially cause 2nd degree burns
Can you explain the basket which basket are you talking about

I saw it last week in a Mi store and it looks nice but the problem is that it's too small for a family. I hope they can make a bigger model as well.

Is it easy to clean? How to clean the heating element? I find it very difficult to remove oil stains from my Imarflex Air Fryer.
Can u put foil in there? Stainless containers for mini cake??
Was it hard to clean the upper portion?
I am seriously thinking of buying this
Thanks for the review ....just brought one for £39 and really pleased with it

Can it cook frikanel, bamischuf, kroket or kaassoufle ?
No fries test? bad test. You should compare it with oil frying.
