Thank you Carolyn! It’s not too bad using the stroke and coat. I’ll get back to stoneware again. I’ve been making some porcelain pieces for a gallery. That requires a lot of patience!😅
WOW, the pieces came out perfect!!! I love them!! There is a ceramics place on Etsy right now that is selling batches of the older Stroke and Coat for like half price...just bought a bunch of them; I ordered some Frit 3124 and I'm going to do your lessons on cuerda seca. I've been doing pottery for awhile, but have never tried this method. Thanks for the info!!
❤love your work. Very good videos with explanations that are clear. I have never worked with Stroke and Coat. Are the glazes on your mugs Stroke and Coat as well as other glazes on the same mug? What cone are you firing to? And can one do cuerda seca on green ware that is bone dry?
I’ve been using stroke and coat on the outside of the mugs and creamer and sugar. You can use it inside also, but I poured another glaze inside just because it was easier to do it that way. Yes you can paint Cuerda seca on bone dry clay and you can do one single firing but fire it slow. I fire to cone 5.5 and my firing schedule is posted under the community tab. I’ve tested the single firing Cuerda Seca on a red stoneware and it works. You just need to be very careful because of being fragile.
Beautiful tropical fun! You do amazing work with Stroke N Coat. And I love the lil frogs.
@@skcamerican thank you so much! Stroke and Coat are great glazes!👍🏻💕
absolutely beautiful
Thank you!
Your painting is gorgeous. I just don’t have the patience, but I will try the stroke and coat.

That’s great! Let me know if you have any questions. You’ll love it!💞
Also, where did you get the frog mold? Did you make it?
I make all my frogs by hand! They are time consuming 👍🏻

Did you clear glaze before firing or is that just Stroke and Coat?
No clear glaze is needed, just stroke and coat. They are glossy!
@@anasclayhouse Thanks!
