Looking real nice hope to see a video on installing wood in bed the letters look great in tail gate thanks again have really enjoyed watching you build this truck
you should be proud , youve done an amazing job on your truck! I drove a 64 chevrolet long bed similar to yours when I was in high school. Love that body style truck.......
Oh man! I'll never see mine look anything near that nice! At this point if it gets running and I can drive it, then that will be a big deal. You did an amazing job!
Gibson63 hello my name is Carlos of Brazil, Blumenau city, Santa Catarina state, I am impressed with the work and whimsy are you doing in restoring your pick up. watched all your videos you are to be congratulated.
Good ol boy....... That ride is looking really nice. I was just watching some of your older videos last night..... wondering what you were up to lately......... Thanks for the update. Brad
That wheel offset is a hard one to find. I wanted at least 8 inch wheels. And 15 inch diameter. I didn't want 17s. I have a 2.5 drop spindles with 5 lug . So I needed 3 inch backspacing on 15x 8.s and they were tight on the back. Had to roll the rear fenders about a half inch. Rear differential is a 1981 chevy..it works well. Aero wheels. 15x8 three inch backspacing. 215 60 r 15s. It was not easy to find something that would work in both the front and back wheels. Just FYI if someone else is fighting this issue. 🤪👍 1961 Chevy Apache truck. Short fleetside
the time you took to do the letters in silver was worth it. the truck is coming together super beautiful. hope you can film details on the wood floor for the bed? take care man
Love this video series. Just excellent work. Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to share the dimensions of your shop? Looks like the perfect size.
Yes about 1in wide, I believe I can fix that with a different offset I'll have to measure that in before buying another set of wheels, the height was fine
Man, you have a "ton" of patience with that tape and it came out BEEE-U-T-FUL!!! I'm surprised you could handle the tape with the gloves on. So, the BIG question: You're just about done. "What are you going to do next"????
Yeah feels like I got a big chunk knocked out with all this body work and paint done, still got a ways to go on this one, but I do have plans for another project later on
You are doing a fantastic job restoring this truck, my hats off to you on an excellent job!

Probably no chance of gravel or building supplies being tossed in that bed.
David Isachsen lve hauled a few chairs and a tent to a couple of car shows but that’s about it
OMG. You're never going to want to drive it now. I'm rebuilding mine as a daily driver.

awesome job. .it's getting closer for that ride down the street. ..were the tires to wide...were they ok on the height
Yes about 1in wide, I believe I can fix that with a different offset I'll have to measure that in before buying another set of wheels, the height was fine
Great job!
You've done a great job through the build. That tank will be a good size , how many gallon do you think it is ? Looks Great!
The measurements i got was from a 19 gallon tank I did change up a little on the slope, so it's somewhere around there
Beautiful workmanship! What are you thinking about for wheels - classic steel/hubcaps or chrome?
I'm still leaning towards the chrome custom wheels but still haven't made up my mind
