Wouldn't it be better to have fire bombards on the sides? Or is this the best choice for this ship? Plus maybe Le Fleau instead of Leopol III? Thank you for your reply and for your help in looting this fortress.

No they do Fire damage and ablaze, where the Mons megs do explosive damage and have structure damage

as far as the mortar you could use the Le Fleau I just prefer the leopol for that little bit more damage. and you also have a nice day thanks for stopping by. @@LiaoningSVK

i was struggling with this the other day, found out you can attack the fort outside of the plunder range and take the walls down that way too the cannon walls don't reach i believe but if they do you can just do what you did and position as far east as possible and then you're fine, Took it down with my brig with Twin Winch, 2 Dards, and mon megs on the back, only used leopold for incoming ships once i started the plunder cause then i could skip a wave or two of loot.

Doesn’t taking down the walls first before plunder have other ships arriving first? So are you saying to take down the walls before plunder? You only have about a minute outside the plunder zone before you either have to get back in or it ends

@MrMgage13 during the plunder as shown in video. If you take walls down 1st you will have alot more ships to deal with. But you could do it that way if you really wanted to.

​@@MrMgage13 that's the thing though i started the plunder and sank, respawned at nearest outpost sailed back over and the damage I already did to the towers was still there so before starting the plunder again I just shot them from out of range didn't have to worry about timer at all

For me it spawns like 30 ships at once this fort is buged.
