Kovats Kolos has infinite breath. What a control!
Nagyon tetszik ez a minden modorosságtól mentes előadói stílusuk... profizmus és alázat, minden elismerésem. Régen ilyen gálakoncertek voltak, most meg a Mága Zoltán van...
Már csak a K Kolozs él közülük. Fiatalok vannak, akik ilyen szinten képesek előadni?

Oui. Làzlô Polgàr ,qui nous a quitté en 2010 , était vraiment une des plus grandes basses du siècle. Aujourd'hui redécouvert depuis son incroyable interprétation du Prince Gremine dans Eugène Onéguine, il rallie désormais tous les suffrages des mélomanes, en France en particulier.
Glorieuse soit la mémoire de Polgàr , qui longtemps encore restera vivant grâce à ses enregistrements !
Magyarországon mind a három énekest számon tartják. Szerintem mind jó. Óriási veszteség, hogy László Polgár és József Gregor nincs már közöttünk!

Les chars russes qui écrasérent la population de Budapest en 1956 ensanglanteront bientôt le peuple hongrois et personne ne bougera.
Számomra nagyon emlékezetes koncert. Személyesen ott voltam nejemmel, édesapámmal, fiaimmal és menyeimmel.
Három ÓRIÁS!....bár csak láthattam volna így együtt őket a szerepükben...!

Egy radiomusor miatt keveredtem ide, eddig azt hittem olyan messze van tolem ez a stilus, mint a Mars, de a Polgar Laszlorol szol musor felrobbantotta az agyam. Hihetetlen hang! Csodalatos volt. Azt sem tudtam ki o, most meg csak amulva hallgatom ot!

Three of the best basses in the world - and if I'm not wrong - they're all Hungarian. Must be the goulash.
Kovats is particularly impressive. I sang the Commendatore myself but while It was a success, it wasn't nearly as good as Kovats - but who is?. This is just about the best version I've ever heard. I have the whole of the Don Giovanni in electronic form on UA-cam. Hundreds of people have downloaded it.
I'm going to look up Kovats videos on UA-cam.
Vous parlez de Kovats ...mais combien lui est merveilleusement supérieur Lazlô Polgàr que l'on redécouvre comme l' une des plus grandes basses de la deuxième moitié du 21 ème siècle depuis la révélation de son incroyable interprétation du Prince Gremine dans Eugène Oneguine en concert.
Il a surpassé et surclassé et Boris Christoff et Nikolaî Ghiaurov dans ce rôle !

Il migliore dei tre è Laszlo Polgar,, padrone anche della scena. Affascinante
Ahimè, Clara, in questo frammento Polgar era peggio di tutti e peggio di tutti gli altri conosceva il suo partito. Peccato che tu non l'abbia notato. In generale, è un buon cantante.

They Székely Mihály, Polgár László and Gregor József were amoung the best of them, but there have been a lot of them wonderder basses, for instance Rene Pappe!
And don´t forget Kurt Moll and Josef Greindl!
has Laszlo ever played the role of the commendatore?

@@purisermonisamator Well, someone who has played/sung Leporello should know the part of Don Giovanni perfectly as well, as he's on stage with him most of the time and he must have done most of the rehearsals together. I know when I worked in the theatre I knew all the other's parts by heart. We all did, without trying, since we heard them and watched them every night (of course opera has fewer performances, compared to theatre).
Впечатление смешанное. С одной стороны, прекрасный дирижер и Лепорелло со Статуей, с другой - Полгар чем дальше, тем хуже владел материалом и после появления Статуи вообще стушевался. Такое неуверенное исполнение недопустимо на подобном концерте.
Вначале я недоумевал, почему решили обойтись без Эльвиры? Но, увидев, насколько не в своей тарелке Полгар, я все понял.
