Thank you for the amount of detail you go into with this. I am still trying to get my Rapunzels but this is helping me understand the deck so much better
Where in thw tournament rules does it say top seat after cut goes first. That's a MTG rule, not lorcana. Every match even top cuts rolls to see who goes first . To allow top seats to autochoose fist is an insane advantage.
If locals are heavy on sapphire or ruby/sapphire, is World's Greatest Criminal Mind the correct tech? Or do we just hope for good draws with A While New World?
If the locals is heavy red blue I may suggest that RP would b the ideal counter but if you are dead set on AS then you can run 1-2 copies to blast tamatoa. The matchup is still tough even with criminal mind.
What about for the mirror match up? Which I find to be probably the worst match up of them all. Truly feels like the absolute coin flip that determines who wins, is there any way to get ahead or win on the draw against another steelsong deck, outside of them basically bricking in terms or their hand and ariel hits?
As a fellow Steel Songs player, I really appreciated your take on these match ups! 💪🏼😎

You’re right it’s not part of the official lorcana rules, but it was written in the rules for this specific tournament!
