As a mom with a child that has autism and ADHD, every child needs to be loved and cared for, my kid got diagnosed at 5 years old, and that hadn’t changed anything I thought about her, she’s still my perfect little girl, Heart you Jenny❤❤❤
W mom
Good for you, Lexieditstudio, I'm sure my ma would be happy to know that there are other mothers out there who love their care that are autistic or special. I know this because I am autistic and I turned out great thanks to my hardworking and dedicated single mother.
i have adhd and autism 2 hehe
26 diagnosed hf autism adhd ocd and thankfully my parents have been nothing but supportive
I also have Autism (ASD)
I feel so bad for the dad. His acting drove me to the verge of tears
Yeh, It was definitely a had thing to go through but at least something good came out of it, He now has 2 daughters.
I can’t help but feel like hospitals should enforce mandatory DNA tests before allowing someone to leave with a baby, to prevent a kidnapping or an accidental swap. If the DNA doesn’t match, then either a doctor or one of the biological parents could explain the situation. In that case, it would most likely be that the parents decided to give the child up for adoption.
Indeed
True but at the end of the day this is just a short skit and stuff like that rarely happens. They are more organized and too smart for stuff like that.
No that is too controlling the bracelets are pretty good enough
@cute2neko that isn't a matter of control. It could be some sort of instantaneous test done right there at the entrance (once those exist, of course). If the results match, or they don't for a valid reason, they are free to go. If they dont match and no good explanation is given, they are taken to security to decide upon further action.
Yeah, but DNA test on a newborn? I don’t know about that
Olivia: Does that mean the other Olivia is my sister?!

One of the best videos yet! Just because children are different, whether they have a disability, special needs, blind or dyslexic, doesn't make them worthless; every child deserves love from family no matter what. A child is a blessing and parents will always look out for them. As an Autistic man, I know how that feels, but everyone is special in their own way!

Disability or not, all kids need love no matter what whether it's blood family or not. The kids will get twice the love
@ hannah krug
Yes! While I agree that raising a physically or mentally disabled child isn’t ideal or easy all the time (medical bills, support, etc), it’s those kids who need the love and support of their parents the most. It’s hard enough when they attend school and hardly make friends and struggle harder than their peers or going out in public and feel like they’re being judged and stared at. But being abandoned by parents……the very same people who should love them unconditionally, is way worse.

The best episode of Dhar man I've watched. Absolutely amazing. Great lesson, great story line and great acting.
WOW...that was a tear-jerker and stirred all types of emotions. I felt anger at the heartless mother and that she would switch her baby for a healthier baby. However, I'm happy with the way it turned out blind Oliver got the love and care she needed from a mother. Now both girls have a mom, dad, and an extra grandmother to love them. Well done!!!
And the heartless mother will now be in prison.

Yes! But lucky for the child, she spend most of her life thinking the other nice lady was her mom and had no idea what her real mom did to her. It’s the husband who really got a punch in the stomach! And Rose’s blind mom.
@@HxzzSZN A few things in this video didn't make any sense to me like I don't see how Rose could've been charged after 11 years. Realistically, the statute of limitations would run out by then.

Any Dads, take notes
When I was born, if doctors ever had to do something outside of the room, my dad wouldn’t let them unless he could follow them and watch what they were doing to me.
The point is, it’s up to the dad to keep and eye on their child after birth. If you just keep an eye out, you can stop a stranger (or even your own partner) from switching your baby.
Thank you
As someone who almost got swapped at the hospital when I was born, I think your father totally did the right thing! 👍
Some people may consider it controlling or paranoid, but considering things like in this story also happen in real life, it is quite understandable! And only wanting to keep an eye on your newborn child isn't hurting anybody anyways!
Is it possible though for the fathers/people close to the parents to actually be present at all times when the child needs to be taken away for checkups and everything?
Because if I'll ever have kids, I would want someone to be able to make sure my child will be okay and returned to me!
@@Aruna_Shadows yes, it is possible for a family member to be with the baby at all times. I know because I’m perfectly healthy. If you say that you want someone with your baby, then doctors should be okay with that.
And think about it. If doctors are hesitant to let a family member watch the baby, then they’re probably trying to do something they shouldn’t be doing. From my perspective it’s “if I can’t witness what you’re about to do to my baby, then it must not be that important.”
As you said, there’s nothing wrong with someone wanting to make sure they’re newborn is okay at all times.

18:55 but i thought rose’s mom was blind too???
She is that’s why she didn’t know who was there until the dad said who was there and her granddaughters hugged her
Am I the only one who believes Marcus & Pamela got together & officially became a family??
“No matter how different it is to have a newborn baby in physical or mental problems, they should still be loved soulfully and happily.”
Did Marcus's ex-wife seriously not think the truth would come out eventually? If they live in the same town, it was inevitable that Marcus or Pamela would have seen their biological daughter and started looking. Also, Olivias' physical features would have become to apparent that, if someone questioned them when they were teens, they would've sought the truth themselves. Rose hurt everyone; her mother by basically cutting her out of her life, Marcus by lying to him for years, Pamela by stealing her child and both of the girls(but especially her biological daughter because she didn't want to have a child whose blind).
Because she was blind by rage she didn't think things through.
I wonder if Pamela is dating Marcus so they can have a family now that his wife is out of the picture and Pamela has no husband

I watch this show called Switched at birth and seeing this totally brings back memories of that show with slight differences, but this video was very well done. I honestly see the potential of seeing this video as a 1 hour or a 2 hour movie to truly provide more specific details and more background story and more dialogue exchange with the father explaining to Pamela how her pendant is the same with his daughter Olivia pendant. I would definitely love to see an extended version of this because they could be more storytelling to tell here. Amazing video with a good message.
I loved that show too. Also i watch the Fosters.
There’s a pretty similar movie called Run that’s about a girl who slowly realizes that her mother is not her real mother

They possibly sussed it out through Marcus telling them about Rose switching the babies.
Marcus said that he told the police, and I don’t know if this is how it works, but maybe there was security footage from that day showing a woman in a wheelchair (Rose) stealing a nurse’s ID and putting on scrubs to impersonate her. Having the confession confirmed that she did this all on her own, no one forced her to.
How is that funny it doesn't really sound funny
As someone who has always wanted kids, just the thought of someone not caring for their own child just because they may need help with an issue that they might have hurts me to my core.
Also severly off topic but anyone else think that Pamela's actress is pretty cus like she is

As someone who's not blind but visually impaired, this hit hard. Especially when she said the part with falling behind in school, no friends, and no sports. All my life I've been bullied, called names, made fun of, etc. all because of a stupid eye condition that I can't even control because I was born with it. I love how the dad was so protective of Olivia and when rose was about to say that she is blind the dad got mad and protective.
Both Olivias are his daughters. He would do anything to protect them, even if his bio-daughter-Olivia didn't want to be part of his life. That's a dad.
Each child got 2 parents.
Marcus is his name and yes he was very protective. He had a hunch that Rose was unfit to be a wife and a mother
Just like 13 years ago when my parents were together, my mother would wait for me to go somewhere, like the bathroom or something, and she would take my brother somewhere and leave me home with my dad. My dad would always get mad at her for it and she’d be like “Well, he’s not gonna know, he’s 2” and my dad would respond with “Well, I will know and so will you.” He would also get mad at her for leaving me on the bed as a baby and I would always fall and hit my head, which would wake him up. He found out why she left in the middle of the night. So she abandoned me before she abandoned me. That might be why when I’m at work I wait for the mother to take the baby out of the cart and put it in the car and then I walk away when I see that the mother is not abandoning the child. That and I have trust issues
Marcus and Palmelia are a great match 💝💞
