The DA knows well they can't win elections, they get into power using coalitions, and once they're in they want to do things like the racist old day were you sideline black communities and dictate to coalition partners, doing things without consultation and approval, and wanting to take credit for what is supposed to be a collective effort. We know for a fact that this doesn't work from their many failed partnerships in the previously held metros.
In short, the DA su¢ks, and they got what they deserve. The ANC can't be blackmailed forever, they have options, MPK, EFF, ActionSA, PA will take any deal. The ANC is the majority partner, the can do what they want.

Herman Mashaba is not the person he pretends to be .Most people lost respect for him .To tell the truth DA saved SA a lot of drama , it could have been the ANC , EFF just think what would have happened they will take the country down with them . Ramaphosa is on his second term, his time in politics is as good as over. The jostling for positions has began, and if Lesufi has GPs backing it doesn't matter who's at the top o the party. Politics is about balancing interests, not dictating your Will. Ramaphosa will be gone in the next conference, which is in three years if I'm not mistaken, it's in his best interest to influence decisions on the next leader or at least honour his deal with Mashatile.

Under your leadership townships look like abandoned places. Our properties have depreciated in Akasia coz grass cutting and street maintenance has been neglected since you came in to power. Suprisingly few kilometers to Sinoville doornpoort and montana service delivery is on point. Do I need to say it out loud that because majority residents, there are your favorite people. Blame mashaba for your incompetency wont bring you back to Tshwane house.
One day Brink will learn that it is about the people, and not his investors and amassing surpluses. Had he cared for the community, the community would be fighting back on his behalf right now demanding his reinstatement instead of celebrating the departure of the DA from running the metro.

Brink has greatly improved the finances of the city and upgraded tender requirements for waste removal contractors to make it more efficient. The labour dispute has been resolved.
Hammanskraal residents should be getting clean water within a month and they have had their water bills wiped clean with new water meters installed.
