I just realized that it's not that Jim doesn't laugh like this anymore, it's that this was Jim & Ant using expensive, top-of-the-line broadcasting equipment owned by a major radio network. It had to have given them a level of confidence and freedom that you just don't get when you're in your home podcasting with hardware you bought yourself (especially when you're visible as well). Plus in a radio station, you're not worried about breaking anything because it's all insured, and there are employees whose job it is to repair/replace it quickly. Even Compound Media's equipment isn't as high-quality as a radio station's would be.
That has nothing to do with it. Also, breaking equipment from laughing? You're wrong about equipment too. It's 2023 my man. Equipment for everything audio related is affordable now compared to back then. One of the most popular microphones used in radio and podcasting, the Sure SM7b is only $350. Most other things are software-based now and can be run from a laptop. Jim was just a young aspiring comedian at the time, full of life. Life eventually wears on you. I don't think any of them are doing exactly what they want to be doing now. Maybe Anthony is but I don't think Jim is and so maybe he's not as happy as he was then. That plays a big part on your mood.
Edited title: Jimmy Norton and Anthony Cumia bringing the comedy and carrying the show as usual.
and dont forget opie on the useless buttons that make noises which rarely have anything to do with what was just said.
Ill.never get tired of jim and ant shitting on opie
No matter how much uncle Paul I listen to, that falalala song is still brutal
First time I heard it an holy shit that was the hardest I laughed in a while.
Blood on your thoighs falalalala
His trick or treat skit is horrifinly hilarious
Opie having to let everyone know he finally gets a movie reference
This is my song about Africa.....
-Anthony Cumia.
Still crying laughing my ass off in 2021
Ants laughing during Jimmy's pic with Romo will always get me
Never heard the callers being this funny I was dying around the 8 minute mark
The absolute king caller was "You missed it Bobby you big fat pig"
I’m so glad opie misses the best phone call during the shining bit
“what did he say”...
“best caller of the day mongo...”
he told him to tweet that shit so he could read it later
Hate to stick up for Ope but it sounds like Vos is saying that
He brings nothing to the table.
How Sam stepped all over the One Knee line still bugs me,Fckn Opie Jr!
Opie singing in a deep voice "Holy holy night" makes me want to rip off my ears🙉
The whole setup for the first minute and a half is brilliant
Good to have you back Zarchivo! AND BETTER THAN EEEEVER! WERE BACK!!!!!!
Nobody’s got game like David the intern 😂
You really been putting in work, thanks. Stay safe.
I sometimes think that the laughs were over the top to just piss Opie off. Haha
1:00 Ant has such a remarkable ability to put someone down within a split second of a dumb comment coming out of their mouth
It's not remarkable. I know plenty of people who are sarcastic and quick-witted.
Don't get me wrong, I love Anthony.
9:23 a rare one by opie
God bless ! You're a saint on eart, have some beak sauce.
Long John lingie longie
23:15 FaLaLaLa
