I guess you recorded in console, cuz there were no mods and the actors wore all online mode clothes. I also work on ps4. I dont know how you get that many people to act. When i call people to help me i only get 3 or 4 friends
"FUCKING LADDERS" Well that was pretty fucking good. I liked the cinematography and the story and the action scenes weren't too bad. The dialogue was top notch work. I've made GTA V Machinimas for almost 2 years now so I definitely can see that this was not easy in the slightest. Great Work.
35:15 Oh man I hope that's original!!! Who wrote the Screenplay!!!??? You owe the world to keep writing...especially with that level of talent! Way to wax your words playa'
This was genuinely brilliant! You told a cinema worthy story in a machinima, not many people can do that! I think you have a real talent, well done everyone involved! Great work
35:15 Oh man I hope that's original!!! Who wrote the Screenplay!!!??? You owe the world to keep writing...especially with that level of talent! Way to wax your words playa'
That was f*cking brilliant! Well bloody done! Also, was nice to hear The Killers in the credits, they’re an awesome band. You’ve earned yourself a subscriber. It’s incredible what people can make on the Rockstar Editor.
Honestly felt like a mix of Assassin, Die Hard and True Lies mixed together with Stalone in the leading role. Very good job, great attention to audio details and soundtrack. Cinematography was very fluid and the voice acting was pretty good, at least for the main character. Great job
I think Deadborn read a lot of Spiderman comics in his time! haha & @ 23:23 Was that The Punisher's fam??? (evillaugh) Doesn't Welsh sound like across between Christian Slater & Leonardo DiCaprio...& Deadborn reminds me of Berry, from the original Resident Evil game...good times
Alright i just finished the movie. Let me begin by saying the choice of protagonist and antagonist was on point in look and in voice. The secretary scenes all felt authentic portraying a politician and some what of a wimp. However, parts made him look courageous like driving the bike and knocking the antagonist out cold. At points we of course could see the limitations of filming in GTA V but that did not take away the feel of being at a theater and watching it. The 720p at points degraded the film but then again we understand limitations. If it were 1080p it would have only made it look better. however, the compelling story is what was capturing. The highs and lows of the film were shot perfectly taking the viewer on a roller coaster that we so much love in films we see at the cinema. The antagonist had great lines my favorite being "As men of this country our word is our bond... now grab a mop" That and many other lines were greatly written well thought and original. Camera was simply on point. Id like to also say that at points the characters would do things that weren't shown to the audience, for example grabbing a beer bottle and drinking, you could see that he pulls it out of nowhere barely visible in the shot but with good eyes it could be pointed out. Also at the construction where does he grab the grenade? Or at the party shoot out they pull guns out of nowehere, when i seen these it took the immersion and realism away reminding me that it was shot in GTA V. I think fill in scenes of characters grabbing things i mentioned would have enhanced the immersion, with good camera angle it could have made those bits more believable. Nonetheless, these were minuscule points. Choice of music - This can be a tough one, matching the appropriate tempo with a catchy sound enhances the scenes and draws the audience in closer to points that matter most in our films. Overall the music choice was good although i felt that a more complex choice and with a little searching could have found some better appropriate music. Still they were great choices. My favorite being the song at the subway. Frankie Valli - i love you baby fit superb into that scene, it cut into the scene perfectly giving the audience a sense of excitement and action that put me at the edge of my seat. Such a classic! My conclusion to this films is as followed. Writing: 10/10 Directing: 10/10 Camera: 10/10 Music:9/10 Scene Transitions: 10/10 Characters: 10/10 Cinematography: 9.5/10 Overall: Two Thumps UP BABY! You have to come out with Part 2 cause its only appropriate to see what happens next. I loved this film. You all deserve a standing ovation.
Cause of the overwhelming support of this project and all the love its getting we are working on Chapter 2 right now :) and im super exited to show you guys what we have in store.. And thank you for the kind words!
If i may lend any helping hand feel free to shoot me an email if you would like just another person you could use some help. I looked at alot of these machinima films and alot of them lacked writing and good story telling often seen as rushed projects. This one however is a real hit. I would love to be apart of the next chapter, even as an extra or anything. I am eager to hear from you guys email me at lightiningfilmsofficial@gmail.com or contact me via twitter @Its_Raiden
Damn! This is good!!!! Have seen a lot now, but this is the best till now. Isn't it possible to use mod cars? Like real brand cars? That would make it more realistic.. The real Crown Vic and Explorer police vehicles and some other getaway cars
Great work dude! this episode gave me alot of motivation to join the us army to to serve and protect what needed and this episode gave me alot of emotions 3
Great job. I wonder how many hours you spend on this? question! Did you do all with gta's editor? Even for the sound track the script or did you recorded the voices after you finished all the scenes and etc....?
First i write the script! then i send them out to the voice actors! while i wait for them to get there lines to me i film everything. and i did do it all with gta editor. this project took me 6 months
Do they have an app or something like that to record their voice? I don't get the way you put voices after you film everything sorry I just try to understand. There is this kind of option in gta editor?
Mini gun and music is pure genius

May I ask what happened to Dieborn 2? The trailer was released ages ago. Been looking forward to it ever since.
Was shut down due to production problems. But the future is bright
Whats the song that plays when the guys goijg through the subway with a minigun
One thing that didn’t make sense when the bad guy asked the secretary if he remembered names yet I bet he doesn’t remember anyone he’s killed
