    Hi mate. Brilliant video, really helpful for learning what different components make up the great tracks we hear and love.
    Quick question, when you are producing a track like this, in what order would you work through the different sounds?

      Hey mate, appreciate it greatly 👊 To answer your question I usually start with drums then move onto the rest in no set order.

      Cheers bro. Check out the Jungle Jungle 1989-99 pack & the various Zero G datafiles. Loads of these vocals in there.

    I saw somewhere that you used vocals from "AT_SHV_127_Bring the beat" sample pack, could you tell me what is this samplepack full name, please ?

    I like Kettama's music, but it's not hardgroove, it's not even vaguely like hardgroove, why do people think this?

    • @SOTASounds_
      @SOTASounds_  25 днів тому +2

      Might not be "hardgroove" per se, but certainly has those influences. How would you classify his recent stuff out of interest?

      @@SOTASounds_ It is a bit more groovy I guess, sound of the police is almost there, but a lot of it sounds like sped up Tech House. I don't mean this negatively, I acknowledge it's possible I'm just old and stuck on what hardgroove was? Although I would say someone like Alarico is a new school guy who does slamming hardgroove.
      Just to be clear I think his stuff is great tho

      His music is a mix of everything. Each one of his tracks has its own unique sound. In a way he has almost created his own sub genre mixing Trance like Techno with a Hardgroove element in terms of the pace

      I agree that kettama isnt fully hardgroove, but his emphasis on drum loops and percussive vocals shows influence from the genre imo
