I got my pre-ordered HTC Vive XR elite and send it back, vertical FOV about 90° look like in little holes not full VR experience, and right screen of my XR elite was with more defective pixels, the Vive soft looks like start developing with much of bugs. I don't recommend to buying it.
What the heck are you talking about? No offence but is this some AI generated video as the second half is literally nonsense. Wrong specs, saying XR Elite uses base stations, can't do stand alone etc. Weird, it's like two videos mashed together but one of them is totally wrong.
Not sure if I´m missing something but seems you are comparing the quest 2 to a different headset in the second half of the video. HTC Vive XR Elite is a stand-alone device that can be wirelessly used with PC but does not use the lighthouses., it uses Wifi. The HTC spec from the beginning of the video also doesn´t match the specs in the second half of the video. This is why I think you are talking about the wrong HTC headset in the second half. Maybe update the video.
the elite is portable what are you saying? you also didnt go into the change in performance on either headset once connected to a pc.....and you got to slow down man it just sounds like youre reading off wiki or something. other than than it was ok coverage and ill be upgrading from a meta 2 to the Elite mainly for iracing
Quest 2 200 bucks and full steam support. It’s a simple choice get the quest to get into vr the both have the same hand tracking abilities not sure where he’s getting his info from.
I am on the fence but your video is technically wrong about PCVR compatibility. Your PC GPU and CPU do the bulk workload of processing then passes the signal to the headset like a second monitor. So the CPU on the headset makes little difference.. As true VR chat user know all stand alone graphics fail .. And we all know the vive store has less games. I doubt its why anyone wants this. I wear glasses and my real concern is XR prescription lense feature vs Pro wearing my own glasses.

The Xr does come with a base station for easier room scale setup but the quest has no need for base station at all.
@@queenbee8045 "The XR does come with a base station for easier room scale setup", what base station are you talking about please?

Not sure where you got your info, but the Quest doesn’t have Bluetooth OR touch controllers…? Try checking your sources bro.
Thanks for the feedback!
The quest 2 does infact have Bluetooth to connect controllers keyboards and headphones no one uses it tho. Look in your settings.
