If I had a nickle for every time Cooper got a shiny from fishing with the old rod. I'd have 2 nickles. Which isn't alot, but it is kinda funny that it has happened twice.
To this day I always have wished Shiny versions would have type variation to add a little punch to them since its only cosmetics. Poor Cooper, He just wants to collect his favorites and the shiny odds will not let him.

Koumori Dragon evolves at 25 luster dragon evolves at 28 and it’s second form evolves at 40 Aligator Sword evolves at 26 as does Lord of D
They literally said not to tell them the levels things evolve, and only say if an item is required..
Battle Ox evolves late, but once you fix the IVs, it's totally worth it!! Rock Head allows for powerful moves with recoil to not have recoil anymore!!

Cassette Beasts does that (the "shinies" being different type. I think they even have a different palette for each type)
