I worked in KSA for 5 years. The people were warm and friendly (those that I met) and the country welcoming to foreigners. One of the strengths in KSA is marketing, they are wonderful at it. The weakness, however, is the stamina and know how to complete some of their projects. In my mind the stadium will never be built and Neom will not work out. It’s a shame for the Saudi people whom deserve more than these facade mega projects. Other problem for WC 2034 is the country is dry (alcohol) and changing that may be difficult even for the WC.
