Can you tell me how the headset functions when it's unmute? Does it only give an audible sound or is there a visible mute indicator on the charging dock?
It's easy to pair but it only uses 1 dect line and it's designed for 1 at a time. Send us an email to info@headsetadvisor.com and we can make a recommendation for your situation.
The video or the host does not provide details on how it connects to the endpoint, whether through a dongle or cable. Additionally, there is no clarification on whether it offers the option to select between a USB-A or USB-C connection, either via a dongle or hardwired. Can you offer those details? As more and more computer manufacturers are moving away from USB-A to USB-C connections, it would be helpful to have more information about this. While I understand that USB-A to USB-C dongles are available, they can be an inconvenience, especially if you frequently move the laptop around with limited USB ports. There is also the risk of damaging the dongle if it gets bumped or hit.
@@holyrolly thanks for watching and those are great points we missed. You connect to your computer or desk phone via a USB-A cable from the headset charging base. So, if you need USB-C connection you’d need a USB converter like you mentioned. Thankfully the headset manufacturers are starting to include both USB connections on newer models.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thanks for your response to my comment. I have a few follow-up questions: At the moment, I am interested in the WH66 or WH64, but neither the manufacturer’s website nor yours specify the type of connectivity they offer. Secondly, does the dock need to be connected to the endpoint, in this case a laptop, at all times for it to connect via DECT or Bluetooth? If the laptop is removed from the dock, will the connection automatically switch to Bluetooth from DECT, and does the headset need to be initially paired via Bluetooth? I know in theory the DECT/dock should take priority, but that’s not always the case, especially when dealing with Windows 10 or 11. Additionally, if the dock is reconnected, which connection type-DECT or Bluetooth-will take precedence as the default?
@@holyrolly 1. WH64 is USB-C to the charging base and USB-A to the computer. WH66 is micro USB to the charging base and USB-A to the computer. 2. Yes, you need to keep the dock connected to the computer at all times for either WH64 or WH66 to work. 3. DECT always takes priority when the dock is connected to a computer/desk phone. The only time it uses Bluetooth is when you connect to your mobile phone.

Very helpful video, thank you ! I am using Pipedrive CRM and want to record our sales called with the WH66, what app do you recommend please?
Do you have a video on how to answer with the cell phone and then switch over to your office phone and how the touch panel works?
I like chick fil a too. Lol. How is the Bluetooth mic quality tho? Does it use the old skool Bluetooth with mobile or is it higher quality
It sure is tasty 😋 the Bluetooth mic quality when connected with your mobile phone sounds fine.

The headset will let you know when you mute/unmute and there's a visual indicator on the screen of the charging base.
How easy is it to pair a wh63 to the 66/67? Does it use a second DECT line, or does it use bluetooth to connect? Or should I USB them together?
