- CONFUSED Joe Biden completely forgot what he was talking about and mumbled incoherently at the camera before walking away from the podium mid-question in an excruciating press conference.
The president took questions from reporters for the first time on Thursday afternoon, but quickly began to make mistakes.
AS he finished answering a question about filibuster, Biden appeared to trail off-thought, ending with a pause, concluding "anyway."
"...If you hold near and dear to you that you uh um like to be able to um...." Biden said, before concluding "anyway."
Biden then closed his eyes and appeared to struggle to form the next sentence.
However, after seconds of confusion, he quickly told reassured viewers "we're ready to get a lot done."
He then appeared to call out a name from a list of White House reporters who were quizzing the president.
Going back to his list at a later point of the conference, Biden asked "where am I" before asking CNN's Kaitlan Collins for another question.

My parents are both 80, they understand better than most the cognitive decline that comes with it. They're doing well and keeping fit and active but they full admit that things don't come as easy as they once did and the mind wanders, sometimes into a fog. That being said they thank their lucky stars daily that they are not slipping like this guy and they think is bordering on elderly abuse.
This is why a lot of people retire around 65 years of age.
You realize that mentally and physically, you can’t do the job anymore.
Most people retire in order to start a new life on their own terms. Some of us lose it mentally/ and or physically at any age. Some at 60, some 70, some 80,some at 50! Myself until this,my 68th year i didn't feel any loss, the last 9 months I certainly have. Like all things, its relative but the main thing is to go whenever it becomes apparent. The problem with Slow Joe is,he needs to step down, the bigger problem is his VP successor.I would imagine she would take The Bernie as VP. Socialism is a great theory,but having lived in a socialist governed nation for 25 years, it does not work in actuality.

It’s not in the sense of a Parliament as a political body, but the word is being used in its sense as a procedure for setting rules and order. I’m independent but I’ve leaned more on the republican side of things sometimes. I feel bad for joe honestly, and our country. I’m 19 and didn’t vote last year because I was like it’s not going to matter anyway, all people care about now is beating one another. While I think if it had to come down to it, trump would mentally be the better candidate, I wish America would vote for someone else for once. It’s just sad to here people say I’ll just go with the lesser of the two sides to run our country. 💔
