You have no idea how bad does it feel to watch videos of thousands of Indian, some saying good thing about Canada and others saying bad thing about Canada ( This creates too much confusion for Indian dreaming to come Canada 🇨🇦) I think we just need to take everything easy and have some faith in God, everything happens for a reason ❤️.

no price for dreams... But there is more important mistake possible in canada is, medical insurance.
I got 57000 dollar bill for just not informing that i got admitted to hospital for 2 weeks. Insurance took 3 months to repay that only on the help from Mcgill university lawyers itself. So read all the terms and condition of medical insurance.

@@pratikchaudhari1424 It is possible but difficult for few and almost impossible for rest. If you come on H1B visa through a company's branch office, you almost rest assured that, that company will NOT sponsor you for GREEN CARD after a long stint with them. If you can find another employer in US who is anxious and willing to sponsor your H1B because You are exceptionally talented, you still have to go back to your home country and reapply for H1B. After coming to USA, you need to spend many years on H1B visa before same company can help you to convert into a permanent resident. All this while, it depends on your performance + desirability and rapport with the employer.
I have seen many cases where the immigrants got frustrated even after being in US for a long period of time, earning super-handsomely, but employer didn't clear their path to permanent residency. So they migrated to Canada, Australia or Singapore etc. In addition changing policies of US government can be a deterrent too. So talent and skills may get undermined to enter and be eligible for GC

Simple formula: If you want to buy a car as a student, go for anything under 5 grand and under 1.5 lakh km on it. Pay CASH and make sure you don't need someone else to lend you money for that. Get third party insurance (if you have been driving well back home a lot and are confident about your driving skills)
Having a car in Canada is a necessity in my opinion. You can make a lot of money just by rideshare. I don't recommend food delivery. Just pick up factory shifts, and offer rides to other people who work there and don't have a vehicle. The money you earn from ride shares will take care of your car insurance and fuel costs. Factory shifts are higher paying and under less pressure than fast-food chains like Timmies, Subway etc. and usually factories are outside of the city where there is no good transport and a lot of workers need ride to reach there.
There is just one clause that would throw most the people out, that is, "Do this only if you are a hard-working individual" If you want a lot of time for yourself, you might not like this, so definitely do your research and make sure if it is what you really want. I did that, and I would 100% recommend it. Buying a car was one of the best decisions that I made so far. I couldn't find work nearby, and getting groceries by bus really was a big pain back then. Plus I love to travel a lot which I could only do efficiently when I had my own car.

First thing let's be clear if you were in developing country like India will you buy expensive car in few months of first job think again are you doing right secondly why to buy asset which is having hug deprication
Better you should invest save and creat surplus and avoid taking loan leverage. Hard lesson never buy to show off Punjabi style

Thanks for sharing, your advice is very true, but at younger age blood flow to logic is less than blood going to ego.
Regarding repair, you got lucky, you just had to pay the deductible.
BUT, if the problem is manufacturing, most vehicles have long range power train warranty
Kia offers100000 miles and 10 year limit
I had Chrysler town and country van lucky, I had a car repair person ( foreign elite car) he had worked on my other car, he agreed to look at it, next day he called me, he had printed out whole sheets of warranty information and problems with my Chrysler, he said Chrysler should fix it free
He charged me $200 for his services
Chrysler looked at everything agreed, my vehicle was fixed at no other cost
In New York they also have lemon law, if your car is requiring multiple visits to dealerships, you can claim money back under lemon laws ( I cannot say if that applies to Canada)
Trade that car and buy something made in Korea
