    Rolling out an injured QB and asking him to perform behind that makeshift line was nuts.

      To the credit of TVD he looked great before he went down he just reaggravated his prior injury AGAIN…. I respect the effort if he doesn’t get hurt our chances at a bowl game is very high

    Cristobal was one the top three splash hires in college football this season, joining Lincoln Riley to USC and Brian Kelly to LSU.
    Two of those are playing this week in their conference championship game.
    The third equaled his school's worst record in the last 45 years.

    Some of these young guys are making big plays. Let’s take advantage of the portal! We need some guys that can spread out the field. We need some guys to protect our QB and open the gap. Work hard on the end zone. Defense has stepped up a lot. Especially with our 3&out offense. Go Canes! Respect the process

    Personally, I give this staff a D- after one season. I'm not giving him a pass because of anything Mario has accomplished in the past. This was year 1, and it went as poorly as any year since pre-Schnellenberger years. Now we'll see what kind of coach he is. Is he the same kind of coach that we've seen before, too loyal to coaches? Is it willing to acknowledge that certain aspects of his scheme doesn't work? Based on what we saw this season, and the expected exodus from the roster this offseason the 2023 season looks very rough. We'll have to see who all comes in to fill the voids left behind, and I REALLY hope not only is Gattis shown the door, but someone that can run a more creative offense takes his place. Otherwise, I can see maybe 3-4 wins next season with who all is on it. I wouldn't even count Temple, or Miami of OH as automatic wins as we saw with Mid TN St this season.
    It's very depressing now, but we just have to hope that eventually this highest paid staff Miami has seen will eventually bear fruit (wins).

    I like Mario as a guy and former cane, but idk how much trust for the future I have in someone who needs dynamic players to win. I want to see the development and getting better every week. This year we regressed and got worse week after week and it’s frustrating. Develop the kids you have and put them in the best scheme to win. I haven’t watched since the MTSU loss bc that was supposed to be an easy W. Hopefully he can get his guys and we can turn this ship around. But he’s gotta get rid of some staff members

    I predict Cristobal raids Oregon's roster.
    Players I predict to go to Miami:
    Byron Cardwell, Donte Thornton, Seven McGee, Steve Stephens, Jamal Hill, Justin Flowe, Treven Ma'ae.

    Disappointment is a understatement! Our Players got mollywhooped and our coaches and change shit about it. The hit on TVD was a dirty shot and the defense player jerked his injured arm.

    Season ratings
    Offense: F-, terrible, can't think of a worse offense ever at the U.
    Defense: F, awful, gave up big pass plays all year long, lack of talent at LB and CB positions are glaring.
    ST's: C-, our kickers were good, but our coverage and returns were below par
    Coaching: F, Gattis is awful, needs to go but Steele has gotten a pass pretty much, and I don't see why. He was pretty bad too.
    Cristobal has blame, too, but i think he's tearing down the whole building to rebuild from ground up.

      What??? Duke has a rookie coach who is 8-4 and you are trying to justify our mediocrity. Heads need to roll when Miami has the highest coaches payroll in the ACC. This is inexcusable

  • @slingernolenation7518
    @slingernolenation7518 Рік тому

    As a Nole fan, Taggart said all of the right things, but our team never improved, and in many ways things actually got worse under him, which seemed impossible. He was a nice guy.
    Under Norvell, you could always see improvement. Even when we were losing, you saw improvement. Better offensive line play, fewer false start penalties, fewer unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, more consistent running plays. Even up until our worse loss against Jacksonville State, I always felt like we were getting better, and we were becoming more competitive.
    Mario has done the opposite with Miami. They are becoming less competitive. They are becoming less disciplined. I would be very concerned if I was a Cane fan.
    But

    • @skroopynoopers3642
      @skroopynoopers3642 Рік тому +1

      Let’s see, taggart had fsu 4th in the acc the year prior to Norvell taking over where he finished his first season at 13th. It’s not going to happen in one season, especially with the mess manny Diaz left. There’s a culture issue down there and that’s why a lot of players are transferring. Bunch of soft dudes not wanting to be coached hard

    • @michaelmitchjrTOOTPAP
      @michaelmitchjrTOOTPAP Рік тому

      Cap. That 52-10 win was the same as fsu win this year. Miami lost 3 games that year as well. Harbaugh at Michigan is a PRIME EXAMPLE of what building a program is. That's what Mario is doing

    • @slingernolenation7518
      @slingernolenation7518 Рік тому +1

      Alright. I guess going from respectable to embarassing is all part of Mario's master plan. He probably should have given TVD the heads up on that plan before the season started and given that kid a chance to either sit out the year, and preserve his first round projection, or allowed TVD a chance to transfer to a team that didn't plan on burning everything to the ground ina complete nuclear meltdown. You know, since this was always Mario's master genius plan.

That's how the media should be as well. No sugarcoating questions, no soft handed inquiries. There should be tough questions. The questions shouldn't feel comfortable especially after performances like this. They all have jobs to do.
