for ebay i change shipping & handling time, good idea to change every day to make it go down so its not still at 7 days when you're coming back like the very next day. Good tip!
Is there a reason you have chosen not to use Ebays time away? It has allowed me to travel without changing all the handling time. I use it everytime I go camping. I do not send offers for a couple of days before I leave and start sending offers a on my way home. Its simple to set up and it send an automatic customized message to the buyer .
It's a convenient feature that works for some but for us we noticed our store had more activity when we change the handling time. Might give the feature another chance next trip.
