It looks so historical, yet interspersed with new buildings... Beautiful tour, the sky was just divine throughout and the views at Morgan's dockyard... simply stunning! Some areas just need a little TLC and di place gaan! Big Up urself Teach another awesome tour!🖤🇯🇲 ..
Once upon a time, the town of Port Royal was one of the most visited historic sites in Jamaica. Now, the entire village is in disrepair. Even the old police training school is barely recognisable.
Yes Teach I remember getting the Ferry from Down Town Harbour straight over to Port Royal . I guess Ferry still a run to carry ova residents and visitors. Blessed rise Teach 🇯🇲
Thanks Teach! Port Royal is a gem, nice for a hide away Does the ferry still runs into town??? One of my classmates, Gloria's niece, took it back in the days to get to school at Windward Rd
Port Royal is such a historical place. If the Disney corporation owned Port Royal it would have a big "pirate theme "amusement park there, big cruise ships dock at the port..a tourist town ..i can see it.
Wine Bottle I rather it stay the way it is. Those types of thoughts are the reason why we are in such a predicament, with the selling of the resources we have and landmarks.
@@JVASZE 80 percent of Port Royal run down..the 16th century brick work and buildings are the best things over there..development is needed over there ..if we have to disrupt to develop ,so be it.
@Da Royal General when we say "shady and sinister "in reference to doing business it only means look out for yourself and your money. That's what we and Jamaica must do when we do business be "shady and sinister ".
Wine Bottle this is my hometown. It maybe shabby to you but a safe haven for all who resides there! Crime free and there are comfortable homes there also! Go sell and destroy your hometown!!!
TAKE THE CHILD OUT OF PORT ROYAL - BUT CANNOT TAKE PORT ROYAL OUT OF THE CHILD. STILL REMEMBER ALL OF THE SITES, THE PITCH, OLD NAVAL HOSPITAL THE CHURCHES, CAGWAY ROAD FIRE STATION COULD GO ON. Left there when I was 10yo, now 75yo, still miss it, can't wait to go back
Beautiful and quiet place in Jamaica, with so much history. I used to go there often. Love it there, I even visited years ago when I was in Jamaica.
I love how, even though, there's NEW among the OLD, you can still see the History in the landscape. It's VIEW-TI-FUL. Thanks Teach. 💚♥💛👍👍👏😘😊

This place has its own historical value. There’s not reason to disrupt it.
